Butler Santana heard the noise and hurried into the living room.
"Mr. Heath, I told you not to come in and disturb Mr. Cheney's rest. Why didn't you listen?" Butler Santana was somewhat angry.
Butler Santana saw the mess on the floor and was startled.
Mr. Heath must have angered Mr. Cheney.
Otherwise, Mr. Cheney would not have gotten so furious; his complexion looked terrible.
Butler Santana stood in front of Joe Heath, preventing him from getting closer to Sylvan Cheney.
"It's okay, it's okay, my older brother has a good temper and doesn't hold grudges against me," Joe Heath said, squinting with a smile. "Right, big brother?"
"Mr. Heath, please leave."
"Oh."
Joe Heath straightened his sleeves and stood up.
He no longer looked at Sylvan Cheney but turned his gaze to Butler Santana.
"Butler Santana, it's been a long time since I attended an engagement party. Do the man and woman have to kiss at the engagement party?"
"I... I don't know."
