Wu Dakang was just about to slap his son across the face when Wang Hao quickly stepped in to stop him.
"Brother Wu, don't be rash, let's talk this out first," Wang Hao desperately held back Wu Dakang, advising, "Violence won't solve the problem, but we're here to help. Just take it easy and tell us slowly."
"Alas, it's all because of those high-interest loans." Wu Dakang sat in the chair, looking dejected as he said, "It started when my kid went to the University, and his mom and I supported him. Things were pretty good to begin with. I'd make seven or eight thousand a month doing some extra roles, easy. His mom would do some odd jobs, earning about five thousand a month. Plus, this house is ours, so we didn't really have much financial pressure. But you know this is Midsea, living costs are high, so we're always a bit strapped for cash."
