The heavy vault door hissed open with a guttural KRA-THUNK, metal splitting to reveal a dimly lit corridor bathed in red security lights. Alarms had long stopped blaring—their system fried by Anahita's electromagnetic surge earlier.
Senrigan stepped in first, white trench coat dragging over the steel tiles. His pale eyes scanned without blinking.
Two guards stood in the hallway, cocking their rifles.
FWIP!
Anahita's water tendrils shot out like vipers, wrapping around their necks and legs before they could aim.
CRACK—! BAM!
One slammed face-first into the wall, nose crunching. The other was flipped overhead and pile-driven into the floor with such force the tiles shattered beneath him.
Senrigan didn't blink.
"Two more," he said.
From behind the consoles, another pair rushed out, weapons up.
