Eder took out a glowing jade from somewhere and showed it to them.
"This is a moonstone I've kept to collect energy for her since she was a child. It has a trace of her being and as long as it's intact, it means she's alive. Other than that, we have no way of knowing her location. Unless she activates her own skills, we won't have any kind of connection." Eder grimly said and they dropped their shoulders in sorrow.
"Let's run another search here and if she's still not found, we should find her in Toradashi. Wear your suits, it will be a long night." Eder decided and he walked out of the room decked in his white and gray suit. Behind him, his ripped clothes stayed on the floor.
Latini followed soon after and the elder siblings went along. Huan is still busy searching through the sky.
A few hours before midnight, they met somewhere in the forest. When they saw each other, they understood. Sasha must have come upon a fissure to Toradashi and unknowingly entered. They morphed in their animal forms and ran back home. A shadow glinted somewhere in their backyard when they arrived but nobody took note of it and they went straight to the hidden room in their house.
"Wear your full body armors. I've scouted the way but it's better not to be discovered in case enemies would be lurking around. Huan, stay close to me. Do not leave my sight." Eder said in his domineering voice. He raised his finger and some light shot out from it, the light formed like arm bands on each of his family members before it disappeared in sight. Once he did, he walked inside the rippling void. Huan landed safely on his shoulders, his own band around one of his talons, before the rest of them walked into the void. Latini went in last and threw one last look in the room. She picked up something that looks like a remote on her space treasure and pressed on it.
"Setting the room to detonate in twenty-four hours. Starting countdown in three..." A lady's robotic voice came into air again.
'I'll reset the countdown if we still can't find Sasha in Toradashi. But for now, goodbye!' she softly thought then turned her gaze into the void and walked inside. Toradashi, finally, we're coming home!
Sasha is fuming mad. She can't believe her family supported that boy. She's their family! And what's that? She can't even play a game? She's the principal's daughter.
When she thought of how stern her Baba looked at her and the gazes of her siblings, her eyes reddened again and she cried. She walked out on them. She'll tell Nana on how they treated her at school. Nana loves her best, she'll definitely scold them.
Then she remembered how her Nana reminder her to be good in school. And to make many friends. She cried again. Exhausted and panting, she came upon the same tree she rested on before and she walked towards it.
She rubbed her tear filled face and walked towards the tree with curiosity. The river is here again! So it was not a dream after all! She remembered seeing this river before but when she woke up, it was gone. Maybe, it was the other way around. Maybe she fell back asleep and Ino Zari just carried her back home.
She moved forward and saw the steady flow of the river. The water is clear, she can see the fishes inside. Then something incredible happened as she watched.
A big bubble surfaced from the river and stayed afloat in the air. Then a fish jumped into the bubble and stayed afloat inside it. A few more bubbles appeared and fishes seemed to swim in the air and luxuriously landed on the air bubbles. They appeared to be 'sunbathing'? Sasha walked further until she's standing on the river bank. When the fishes noticed her, they shook from the air bubbles and raced to jump done the river. She pouted.
'Even the fish doesn't want to be friends with me.' she thought. Knowing her heavy build, she did not dare walk further into the river. Nobody's here and if she drowns, no one can save her. She turned back and found that the rice field is gone. There's still a lot of greenery behind her and tall trees that seemed to reach the sky stood where the rice fields had been.
Thinking she just walked a bit further, she turned and tried to find her way home. As she walked, she noticed two round bodies hovering in the sky.
'Oh, the sun and moon are standing beside each other. How rare!' she thought then she kept walking, not bothering to turn back where the sun is actually starting to set.
As she walked, Sasha felt energized inside and her mood improved. Though still sulking, she did not resent her father and siblings anymore. As the sun sets, she caught sight of their lit home from afar and she rushed to go home.
"Nana, I'm home!" She ran inside their house and called out. However, no one answered.
"Nana, I'm home! Ino!" She called for her brother as well but nobody answered. She went out to check their garage and saw their car parked inside. She raised her head in the sky and saw that it was already dark. In fact, the moon is already so high in the sky, shining brightly over their home.
'Where are they?' she thought.
"Baba? Mani! I'm home. I'm not mad anymore!" She called out again. Still, no answer.
"Nana! Baba!" She went back inside and called out again. Fear crept out in her but she tried to keep it in.
"Mani! Ino!" Maybe they're playing a prank on her since she's been nasty and answered them back? She pouted and blinked her eyes to contain her tears.
'How could they do this? I'm still very young! I won't do it again.'
"Nana? Baba?" She called out once more as she searched all the rooms in the house. She saw that dinner has been served and, overcame by hunger, she sat down to eat.
When she felt full, Sasha went out and towards the main door. Carrying her little chair, she waited by the door, watching the moon in the sky and wondering when the sun disappeared. A few minutes have passed, then a few hours, then she felt sleepy and closed her eyes. When she woke up, the sun is already high up in the sky and she felt itchy all over. She found herself still sitting on her little chair and she frowned.
