Beneath the High Tower, more and more people with umbrellas were gathering, their eyes brimming with anger.
Through the hazy rain, even their facial features became blurred, leaving only faces twisted into uniform expressions of rage, jealousy, disgust... as if humans were left only with these negative emotions to connect them.
"Quickly pull that woman down from the tower!" From the crowd, shouts continued, mostly in the shrill voices of women.
