As always Giliath demands your power stones!

"As OUR son, right?", Kasia questioned, squinting her eyes at the man who called himself Giliath Osborne.
"Indeed, as our son. To which his birthright will be kept secret to only us.", Giliath responded.
"You just had to bring that up, didn't you...", Kasia uttered, sighing. She wasn't sighing in relief. No, her sigh carried a hint of disappointment, causing Giliath to stare back at her.
"You know we can't change the past, Kasia. What's happened has happened.", Giliath said, reminding her.
"I know. I know. It's just...", Kasia replied, only to fall silent.
Kasia then glanced her eyes back at the child, still nestled in Giliath's embrace. There was one thing to point out.
The hair of this child belonged to neither Giliath nor Kasia. It wasn't indigo, nor was it black.
The boy's hair was pure violet, and very vibrant. And if one had a close look at the boy's eyes while the boy was still awake earlier, they were pure golden eyes. Despite the child's different look, Kasia still emanated a loving warmth from her body. Reaching her left hand out, she streaked it across the boy's face.
"We forbade talking about that incident, together, Giliath. I still see this child as my own. Just like the one growing in my belly. I love him as our son.", Kasia said.
"As do I Kasia my dear. I will not say that night, nor will I repent it. What's done has been done, and now we have young Naoto. While he may not be of your blood Kasia, he is still of mine. It is true without a doubt that Naoto is an Osborne. Just as much as your second child will be.", Giliath responded. He cracked a rare smile, looking back at his wife. Kasia gently nodded back at him, and took a second glance at her big belly.
Kasia rubbed it with a loving gaze.
"Yes. You do realize if this secret ever goes public, all Gehenna will be raised, right?"
"To the point of causing international turmoil.", Giliath responded, finishing Kasia's words for her. He had a habit of doing that. He also glanced at their son, only to form a grin on his face.
Yet Giliath was quickly shushed by Kasia, who did a motion of her fingers, placing them over her lips.
"Hush now Giliath. We are in the Empire, and we don't know where it may have its ears. This might be our home, but our son will not go by that name. Instead, we made sure to take Naoto's name after you. I didn't think you'd be so scandalous.", Kasia replied.
"Nor did I think I would be enamored by that lineage.", Giliath responded, staying quiet with his words. He knew Kasia was being serious. "It truly is a shame there were...implications.", Giliath continued to say, only to sigh.
"Yes...", Kasia uttered, also sighing. There were certain implications with the mother who gave birth to Naoto. If one couldn't guess by now, the person they were referring to wasn't Kasia. Naoto was born of another, but was still Giliath's son. In the public face, Naoto would be seen as a bastard son, should this news ever reach them. Unfortunately, the mother couldn't make it. With that in mind, Kasia looked back at Giliath.
"I may not ever forgive you for what has happened Giliath, but this will not put shame on the love I still hold for you. And soon to be for our two children.", Kasia warmly said, keeping a smile on her face. She knew how drastic this situation was to them though. It couldn't be leaked from these walls.
"...", The little child remained quiet, not uttering a word. He pretended to be asleep. But his mind was very, very much awake.
'I'm pretty sure I heard something I shouldn't have heard...', The little boy inwardly thought to himself. 'And this man before me...'
I don't know how much time has passed since I was brought to this new place. Perhaps a year? No, perhaps brought over was a bad choice of words.
It would seem I started life anew. Not through transference, transmigration, or through time travel.
It was without a doubt, reincarnation!
To think I would be reincarnated to one of the stories I held dear to my heart. Being reincarnated into the continent of Zemuria, the land where the Legend of Heroes series takes place...
It wasn't just that either. The man before me is my new father. And the woman before me is my new mother. I wasn't just shocked once or twice. But three times!
This is something I'll have to cope with eventually. Being isekai'd to another world is a popular trope that I came across in fantasy novels of my past life. Funny how this turned out to be real. And I know there are some people out there who can instantly forget, but I still had a family I cherished. They must have already realized I'm long gone.
But the man before me...
He was rather tall, wasn't he? He had a muscular build, showing that he underwent a good level of body-tempering. He also had a beard, and medium length brown-black hair. It split off from the center of his forehead, allowing large bangs to streak down the sides of his face. If one had a close look, his left strand of hair had hints of white to it as it streaked downward. Not only that, the man had a very firm stature. He seemed to know how to carry himself well.
Which made sense, seeing as he was dressed in a military garb. He would only take this off when he slept. But even then, he would still keep a simple robe on.
That wasn't the most surprising thing about this man, though. This man...
He belongs to one, if not the most powerful nation to exist in Zemuria. Not only that, he is one of its leading figures. No...
It wouldn't be hard to say that this man stood at the very peak of the nation we reside in.
The man who calls himself Giliath Osborne. The one and only Chancellor of the Erebonian Empire!
Or soon to be, anyways. It would seem I was reincarnated into a much earlier time period. How many years would it be until the games kicked off?
Right now, Giliath, as he stated, is one of the highest ranking officials in the Imperial Army. A brigadier general. He oversaw all military operations no matter which division it was. That's how high up the ladder he currently is. He responds to the Imperial Emperor directly.
A person one shouldn't ever, ever cross paths with. He is both dangerous, and crafty. At least, not for a long time...
But to my surprise, the man before me didn't seem to carry that same crafty air about him. It wasn't the air he had while he was the Chancellor. Seeing as it would be some time before he officially acquires that role, he instead had a firm and resolute look in his eyes. And also a kind and loving one too. Something I didn't think I 'd see from the guy. But once upon, this man truly was a father. And it looks like I was reincarnated in a time to experience this side of him.
As such, it was rather easy to determine what year it was exactly I was placed in. And knowing roughly a year had passed since I was born, and including the little history lesson father taught me despite me being merely one year old...
And might I add, a lot of what my father covered during that read of Zemuria's prehistory likely wasn't available to public knowledge. Seriously, just what in the heck are you trying to show your one year old child, old man!?
But perhaps his words held true. Giliath praised me as a genius baby. I started speaking my first words when the brightest of children started to. I haven't heard those words escape from his lips since then. Seeing me progress like this just seemed natural to him.
Back to where I was though, it was easy to know what year I'm in. Especially after seeing that big belly Kasia currently has. She must be in her last trimester. Eight months or so, give or take.
Before I say what year I think I am in, I should give a little explanation, shouldn't I? The calendar here in Zemuria isn't one you would see back in my previous life on Planet Earth. Ironically enough it was controlled by religion, albeit a different concept here.
I'm referring to the Septian Church. As father stated, they were the ones to create what's called the Septian Calendar. That is what is currently used to tell the time.
Right now, it should be S1187.
That meant I was born in S1186.
I know both S1186 and S1187 played important roles in recent Zemurian history. The former gave birth to one of the game arc's protagonists. Estelle Bright, the sole daughter of the Bright Family. And daughter to none other than the world-famous Cassius Bright!
As for the latter...
Well...
Maybe I'll get a chance to see him next month?
It is currently April of S1187 of the Septian Calendar. My little brother will be born in May!
As for me, I was born exactly a year ago. January S1186!
So I'm a year and a couple months older than my soon-to-be little brother. It took a couple extra months for my new mother to conceive her second child. You sure worked hard, didn't you old man?
It's still weird, seeing this new man as my father already...
But for now, I stopped thinking of what happened to me as a whole. Giliath and Kasia weren't lying that I took my first words before I even turned a year old. That didn't mean jack shit to me, though. I'm still a young child. The number of times I nap is too numerous to count. My body suddenly grew heavy and tired, wanting to enter dreamland.
And so I let it. My consciousness passed out right then and there, falling asleep for the evening.
Seeing me start releasing peaceful snoring, Giliath smiled.
"We will conclude things here for today, Kasia.", Giliath said to her.
"Yes. I feel a drowsy spell myself. We've eaten already, so I think it's time to tuck a good boy in for the night.", Kasia replied with a smile.
"Speaking of which...", Giliath uttered, trying to not disturb his son's sleep. His eyes gazed on Kasia's round belly once more. "Have you decided on a name for our child yet-to-be?", Giliath questioned. His eyes waited in anticipation.
"I have.", Kasia replied with a nod of her head. "Our second baby boy will be..."
"Rean. Rean Osborne.", Kasia declared.

Giving some backstory, Rean has inconsistencies with when he was born. Some books state S1186, some state S1187. The games follow as if he was S1186, but for this fanfiction, it will be S1187. Naoto is older by one year and a couple months.
Naoto's birth: January 31st S1186.
Rean's birth: May S1187.
