On my way back from the cafeteria, I was walking around a kind of secluded area of the campus. Now it wasn't any graveyard or anything like that—just the buildings where the classes were held.
But around this building the classes in these buildings were generally empty so there weren't people around. Normally I wouldn't have passed through this area but since I had eaten a bit too much back at the cafeteria I had decided to take a little detour.
As I was about to turn from a corner in front of me I saw some shadows on the wall, cast by the golden light of the gradually setting sun.
I decreased my pace and decided to see what was going on. After all, the shadows indicated multiple people were there and as I've said before it was quite unusual for that to happen here.
