With the need to rethink their plans, and the guild having arrived early, there was not much for Rune to do. He had planned on spending more time training, but Carin had dragged him along with her to look around the city.
"Normally I would applaud your efforts but it is clear you have been overdoing it lately. Come we are going out."
That was what she had said. Carin did not even bother to wait for a response before grabbing him by the neck and dragging him away.
"Alright, let go! I can walk..." Rune replied struggling free from her grasp. "Why do you want to go out right now anyways?"
Carin shrugged and grinned at him.
"Its been a long time since I have been back in Xala. I mostly keep to my property in the desert outskirts."
Contrary to what most might think, Carin was a registered citizen of the desert. She was the only woman who was free to come and go as she pleased with out reliqnquishing her status.
