"(You are... Cough!... that human mage.... Please help reinforce... the mages....! They are severely... outmatched.... We are losing.... the city....)"
His hand loses strength and drops to the ground.
Fuck, he's dead!...
And you want ME to reinforce the mages?! Don't be stupid, there's no way a little girl like me can fight in a war!
But what if.... What if she attacked the government building? If we begged her for mercy, will she spare us?
There's no customs or laws about war in this world... Which means that it wouldn't be a war crime to murder civilians...
And... What would others think of me?
I feel extremely guilty about wanting to run away.... I probably have the fire power needed to help those mages....
If even the mage squad is overwhelmed then the only one in this city that can lead the counterattack would be me.... If I run away now and everyone in the city was killed... I won't be able to forgive myself.
Dad, Gondur, and Lynn are people that I look up to as mentors, and I knew for a fact that they wouldn't run if they were in my situation and they have the power to fight back.... If I want to be able to uphold their honor then...

This is going to be the stupidest decision I will make in my life!
"Hoo... Hah... you can do this, Kyrielle!"
I took a deep breath and calmed myself down.
Now... Let's approach this situation with a calm and quiet mind.
'Boom...!' An explosion sounded at the distance. Looking up towards the flying woman, I could no longer see any magic firing at her. The Mage squad is likely wiped out now, and the normal foot soldiers would soon be overwhelmed as well if this woman attacked them.
Right now, the woman hasn't used any magic yet, so she may not know any magic at all. I also have the stealth advantage since she haven't seen my location yet. This means I could sneak attack her right now and catch her by surprise, overwhelming her with just firepower alone.
I won't hold back any more.... If I want to survive then I mustn't hold back, I must eliminate my enemy with my superior fire power before they can counter attack since my body is extremely weak.
"Hoo.... Hah...." I took one last deep breath before I reached my hand out towards that woman at the sky, aiming it at her.
Casting two mana balls and two fireballs, I started to charge up the strongest spell that I have.
Charged Forbidden Sun.

With a single swipe of my hand, I ordered a swarm of bats to attack the mages around the Castle wall.
"(Arrghh!!!)" (?x) They screamed out in pain as my swarm of mind controlled bats chewed and tear their way through the mages while they can't do anything.
Everything is going according to the plan so far....
The foot soldiers and Calvary is doing a great job raiding the main gate and distracting the enemy foot soldiers from protecting these mages.
Too bad I didn't have any reinforcements now other than these mind controlled bats and the five vampire beasts that I have stumbled across on the way here... No one else other than me could have the mobility to be able to just fly over the wall.
Seeing as how easy it is to fight and kill the mages, the mission to cripple the enemy's magic defense is a great success. My swarms of bats are tearing through those mages even now, and it won't be long until they are dead.
Hmm?
At the corner of my eye, I saw a faint blue light shining at my eyes from one of the roads of the city. I turned my head towards that direction and watched closely at what that was....
...It's an enemy mage. Another small fry it seems. Hold on, what is that giant fireball? It's a spell that I have never seen it before....
Wait, they are a human! What is a human doing here?!
"Come back!" I yelled out as I waved my hand, gathering all the bats that were attacking the mages.
I can't focus on attacking the mages with my bats like this, but I should focus on defense right now.
"Heh...." A mage human huh?... She reminds me of that one who defeated Supreme King Baal. now I wonder, how strong will this girl be?

[Kyrielle's POV]
"!" Although she's very far away, about 500 or so meters, I could feel that she has finally taken notice of me after I had already finished charging up my Forbidden Sun. She likely saw the bright light of this ball of fire huh? But it doesn't matter.
Quad-Charged Forbidden Sun!
'Bang!' The fiery ball of condensed heat immediately fired out of my hand, making a loud bang and knocking my body backwards in recoil as it shoots. The ball of inferno flew directly towards the woman up at the sky.
In response to my attack she raised her arm. In an instant, a large swarm of bats gathered, forming into a giant ball to intercept my Forbidden Sun before it could even reach it's target.
'Boom!!!' An enormous explosion occured as my spell hit the ball of bats. It's by far the strongest Forbidden Sun I have ever casted, the firepower is insane! All the bats were blown and reduced to ashes, but the hovering woman still remain unharmed.
"Tsk!" It's really annoying to have your spells be countered like that! How can I get through her defense?....
If I couldn't punch through her guard then I'll just have to go around it... That's right! I can just make my spell go around her defense entirely by manipulating it's trajectory mid flight.
"Alright... let's do this!"
Barely few seconds have passed since either I stared thinking. Taking a deep breath to calm myself, I focused on my target once again.
While I was going to charge up another Forbidden Sun, a large swarm of bats rushed at me from the sky at her side.
There's just a lot of fucking bats! Even if each of these bats only bit me once, no doubt I'll still die just because of how much bats there is!
"Out of the way!"
Quadruple Charged Incinerate!
'Bwuom!!!' An extremely large amount of hot plasma spewed out of the four magic crests stacked together in front of my hand. The recoil pushed me back, but I regained my balance easily.
The fire I shot out was large enough to cover the entire street, burning up everything and anything. Because of how small each individual bat is, they all were caught by my flames and burned into a crisp. The sound of the entire street burning could be heard, my spell had basically destroyed the entire street but I couldn't care less.
After the smokes from my fire cleared up, I casted another Charged Forbidden Sun, this time having no bats around you interrupt me shooting the woman.
"!"
The woman at the distance looked surprised when I incinerated all of her bats, and quickly flew away trying to get out of the city. I can't let her escape! The enemy army is probably right outside of the city wall so I can't let her cross the walls!
As she flew, she waved her arm several times as if she was commanding something.... But I didn't cared at all because I have a clear shot now.
Quad-Charged Forbidden Sun!
'Bang!!!' My Charged Forbidden Sun shot out, and flew towards my target in a speed as fast as a missile. Just as I had predicted, she gathered a ball of bats to use it to block my spell, thinking that she could intercept my spell yet again. Idiot!
"Heh..." I smirked as I controlled and made the Forbidden Sun curve upwards, going over the ball of bats mid air before it curved downwards again and continuing on it's path as if the ball of bats wasn't even there in the first place.
"?!" The woman looked extremely surprised, and as a last resort she curled her body into a ball to try to protect herself with her arm and her wings...
'Boom!!!' Another enormous explosion occured as my spell lands on her. It was a direct hit for me, she likely wouldn't come out of that one unscathed.
Within the smokes of the explosion, I saw the burning body of the woman drop down to the city, leaving a trail of smoke behind as she fell. She should be disabled now even if she somehow survived the explosion, which means I should now close in for the kill.
Intending to go on the street towards where that woman was, I turned to my left heading down the street towards the corner.
"....?!"
Suddenly by the left corner of my eye I saw something moving at me. My reflexes made me duck back automatically, and immediately after I ducked;
'Fwoosh!'
Three long, razor sharp claws swiped across in front of my face, barely missing my eyes on its way and cutting my bangs, before it swiped pass.
"What the?!"
'Thud!' Something human sized flies by me after it missed my head, crashing onto the wall of the terraces by the side.
Almost losing balance from ducking so fast myself, I regained my balance. Looking towards the terrace where that thing just crashed on...
"Grah!!!" With its sharp claws extended at me, a humanoid monster with pale white skin and inhuman face pounced forward at me without even stopping after he crashed onto the walls. Acrobatically kicking off the wall of the terrace that it landed on, it immediately pounced at me.
How aggressive, but I'm not going to let you rush me without consequences!
Combustion!
'Bwuoom!'
"Grah!!!"
My spell completely engulfed the monster in flames as I side stepped to avoid the monster's burning body. It flies past me, and hits the ground where I was just standing on.
'Thud!'
"Gah!!!...." It dropped on the ground and after rolling around from being burned, it finally stopped struggling.
That was close!... If I was just seconds later, my face would've been sliced open!
"Groo!!!" (4x) Loud roars was heard from behind me... I quickly turned around and looked behind me towards where the monster just came from.
My sight quickly caught glimpse of the trouble that is about to come when my eyes landed landed the rooftop of the terraces.... Four of the same monster that just attacked me stood there.
"Grah!!!" (4x)
"Shit!"
Vampire Beasts, they are C+ ranked threats individually, and they are really dangerous in a group!
'Thud!' Kicking off the ground I immediately sprinted away from them trying to create distance. They all jumped off the building and chased after me seeing me trying to run away.
Damn! These agile guys can dodge my spells rather easily and they outnumber me, this is going to be an uphill battle!
Earth, grant me a lance that shall pierces all...
Despite me sprinting away, one of the beasts easily caught up to me and lunged forward with his claws out. I turned around and waited until the beast is just about to hit me...
'Thud!' I side stepped out of the way, avoiding the pounce. And then aiming at the spot where I was just at....
Earth Spear!
'Stab!'
"Gah!!!"
The monster jumped right into my Earth Spear, stabbing it through the stomach and killing it.
The other three beasts caught up as well and as if the death of their teammate isn't even important, they all focused only on attacking me.
The first monster rushed forward but he didn't pounce at me. He raised his arm and prepared to swing it at me in close range.
Combustion!
'Bwuom!'
I blew a gush of fire at the that monster but he reads through my attack and jumps to the side, dodging it. He could read my attacks!
These guys know my attack patterns now, this is going to be troublesome!
While I was busy with the first beast, the second beast had already flanked to my side and it slashes at my face.
"Shit!" By reflexes I raised my arm to cover my face.
'Slash!'
"Argh!"
It slashed open my arm, but luckily my active Mana Shield protected me a bit and the slash wound isn't very deep.
'Thud!' I jumped backwards away from the two monsters. I need an opening to cast my stronger spells or else!
Upon this titan's command to kneel, Mud Puddle!
I completely turned the street in front of me into a bog, catching the two monster inside. They are caught knee deep in the mud, and are slowed down, the perfect chance for me to attack!
Mana Bullet!
I shot my bullet at one of the Beast, and it leaned to the left. The bullet barely even scratches him arm and flew right pass, missing the target entirely.
These damned things are really fast! I'll have to use some area spells to catch th-
'Slash!' A sharp pain hits my thigh immediately after I heard a sound of my leg being slashed at.
The third monster had strafed to my back while I was busy with these two. Luckily the cut didn't tear off my leg.
Within these very lands-
"Grah!!!"
"Hah!"
'Grab!'
The beast slashes at me again, but this time I caught his arm with my arm, locking his attack.
"Graah!" (2x) The two beast behind me had freed themselves from the mud puddle, and begin charging at me again. I had planned this already!
-lies an impenetrable wall! Earth Wall!
I raised a large Earth Wall and completely blocked off my back, buying me precious time.
'Thud!' (2x) The two beasts slammed into the wall, making a loud sound.
"Grah!!!"
'Grab!' The third monster slashed his other arm at me and I caught it with my other hand as well.
With both of his hands grabbed, the he reaches his head forward and attempted to bite me with his sharp fangs.
"Oh no you don't!"
'Thud!'
I headbutted his face faltering him.
Earth, grant me a lance that shall pierces all!
"Grah!!!" It struggles to release itself from my grip, I can't maintain my grip on him! In that case....
"Die!" 'Thud!'
I released my grip and kicked him right in the stomach, knocking him backwards.
Earth Spear!
'Stab!' "Argh!!!"
I kicked him right into the path of the Earth Spear that I casted, and the Earth Spear impaled itself straight through the monster.
'Slash!'
"Gah!" I groaned out as a sharp pain hit me on the back of my head. My mind blacked out for a second, and I stumbled as I turn around because of the dizziness...
The two monsters that I trapped behind the earth wall had already got pass it so quickly, these guys are too agile.
'Slash!' Another hit connected as one of the beast slashed at my other uninjured thigh.... I don't have openings to cast slower magic!
Flame Blade!
I fired off a Flame Blade as I swing my hand in the motion of a slash... But two of the beasts predicted it and jumped upwards, avoiding it before they landed back on the ground.
Using this opportunity, I tried to turn and get away but with the both of my leg hurt, my legs loses strength and dropped to my knees instead with my back facing the two monsters.
'Thud!' This is bad!... I can't get away!
'Slash!' (2x)
"Ah!!!"
I was cut on my back twice.... The two of them had rushed forward attacking me knowing that my back is my weakness because I can't aim behind me.
I turned around desperately trying to defend my body, but one of the monsters jumped on me and pinned my shoulders to the floor.
'Grab!'
"Grah!!!" The monster screamed at my face in close range before it tries to bite my neck with the sharp fangs.
I'll die if my neck was attacked!
'Chomp!' I put out my forearm and stuffed it into the beast's mouth, stopping it from biting my neck.
I can't get out of this pinch! Am I going to die here?.... No.... I don't want to die!
But... I'm confused... Why am I...
"Yah!!!!"
Why am I feeling so excited?!
I reached out my other hand and put it directly on the beast's face. A blue crest forms in between it's face and my hand.
"?!"
'Thud!' The beast immediately let go of it's bite and jumped away.
Incinerate!
'Bwuom!!!'
Desperately shooting at the beast, the recoil from my Incineration spell pushed me backwards, making me slide on the ground away from the two of them....
That's right! I can use this to get away!
"Grah!!!" The second beast rushed forward immediately after it's teammate got away from me.
Still with my back sliding on the ground, I pointed my hand at him and...
Incinerate!
'Bwuom!!!'
I shot at him as I was still sliding, pushing me backwards even faster. It doesn't matter that my back is being scratched off, I must use this to create distance!
"Grah!!!" (2x)
Seeing that I was trying to get away, the two Vampire Beasts chased forward at a really fast speed once again...
Staying on the ground is bad! I must seperate them somehow!... That's right, I can do that vertically now!
Incinerate!
'Bwuom!!!' Pointing my arm at the floor as I slid backwards, I fired an incinerate that launched me upwards.
"Shit!..." I lost balance mid air and flipping around violently in the air...
'Thud!' 'Gah!...'
I rammed into the wall of one of the terraces on the third floor. My head concussed and I felt my winds knocked out of me from the impact...
As I fell down, I reached out my hand to the wall and grabbed at the window by the second floor's wall, hanging myself there. Without any hesitation, I pointed my other hand forward....
"Argh!!! Forbidden... Sun!!!"
I had created distance for me to use Forbidden Sun without blowing myself up, now burn in hell you sons of bitches!
'Bang!' Making a loud bang as I fired off a small Forbidden Sun, it shot forward at the two beasts that are still on the ground.
'BOOM!!!'
I blew up almost half of the street with my spell. One beast was immediately blown into pieces, but the final one jumped to the sides, barely avoiding the blast.
The shockwave knocked it backwards, but it soon landed on all fours as if the shockwave didn't hit him at all. Immediately after it regained it's balance it jumped upwards, lunging at me in a desperate attempt to kill me.
Idiot, this just makes it easier to hit you mid air!
'Bwuom!!!' Aiming with my hand at the house, I launched myself towards him in the air using Incinerate.
"?!"
If I don't want my spells to miss, I can just put it on my hand and punch it right into him!
"Grah!!!" It raised it's claws at me mid air when we are about to collide, but it's already too late for him!
'Slash!' It slashed it's sharp claws at my face, but I blocked the slash with my forearm... And simultaneously with my other hand I hit him right on the face as a blue crest forms on my hand.
'Thud!'
Combustion!
''Bwuom!!!'
Immediately after my punch connects, I blew his face with a combustion.
"Gah!!!"
As the flames completely engulfed it, setting it's entire body on fire, we both drop to the ground.
'Thud!' (2x)
"Gah!..." My winds was knocked out of me again on impact with the ground... An intensely sharp pain pierced me by my ribs, it may have been fractured...
"Grah!!! Gah!!! Gah....." The beast dropped about 3 meters away. Still burning, it struggled as it groans out in pain, and soon stopped moving after just about 10 or so seconds....
(5:10 p.m.)
"Hah!... Hah!... Cough cough cough!... Hah!..."
I... I won... I actually won...
They aren't demons... but they are definitely smarter than the normal monsters....
That bat woman might be able to mind control monsters... That's why they attacked me.... I think...
"...Hah!...Hah!..."
Finally, it's over... I thought I was done for good!...
"Hah.... Sob.... Hah.... Sob...."
I genuinely feared for my life when that thing tried to bite my neck... Tears flowed out of my eyes uncontrollably as I wiped them off with my bloodied hand.
I don't want to die... I still want to see everyone one last time at least...
But why?.... Why was I excited?... What was exciting about almost dying?.... I had all kinds of questions, but no one to answer me.... I'm confused...
It might have been just the adrenaline... I didn't notice it because of that adrenaline but now that it has wore off, my entire body is in pain.
Lots of deep cuts and bruises are on every limb of my body... Blood spilled out from the wounds into a puddle, drenching my clothes in a deep crimson color....
The wounds aren't closing even with my dragonkin body's healing factor... I will die for real if I don't get any healing soon....
I tried to stand back up to seek help... the instant I tried to stand up my leg immediately cramps up and made me feel a burning sharp pain, making me drop to the ground.
'Thud!'
"Argh!... My legs hurts like hell!..."
Blood spew out even more from my injuries when I dropped down... For now... I'll have to crawl to the government building... and find Dao to heal me....
With extreme pain in every part of my body, I crawled... and crawled... and crawled... Despite my entire body... feeling so painful that... I could faint at any second.... I still crawled desperately... I don't want to die... I want to... see everyone again...
As I crawled... my body bleeds out even more.... leaving a large trail of blood on the ground.... as if I was a snail of blood.....
My consciousness is slowly slipping away.... fatigue and sleepiness sets in.... I feel sluggish... My head is numb... My strength in my arm is losing... and my face dropped onto the ground....
'Thud...'
I feel tired... and dizzy... and pain all over my body... I feel like I'm.... dying....
This sensation.... is just like.... when I woke up inside.... an ambulance.... on Earth....
"...Hah!...Hah!.... If only...."
My final thoughts lies on my family... and friends... and Lynn.... How many days has it been.... since I was teleported.... here?....
I smiled.... just a bit... when I remembered all the fun.... I had.... on this world....
My mind gets increasingly slower... and slower..... I finally gave in to my sleepiness.... and closed my eyes....
Just a..... little nap.... is fine.... right....?
