\Outside of the Japan Football Union building\
As Isagi made his way to the Japan Football Union building, he felt a sense of excitement and curiosity about what Blue Lock had to offer.
As he arrived, he spotted a familiar face in the crowd.
"Hey, aren't you Ichinan's Isagi-kun?" Kira exclaimed, looking surprised. "You got called here too! Thanks for the match the other day. You remember me, right?"
Isagi looked at Kira, noting his friendly demeanor. "Yeah, I remember you," he replied calmly. "I lost to you in that match for Nationals." He deadpanned, not wanting to show any vulnerability.
Kira smiled and chuckled. "Ah, don't worry about it! You're a great player, and it was a tough match. It's cool that we both got invited to Blue Lock though, right?" Isagi nodded. They continued to banter for a bit before entering the building.
As Isagi and Kira entered the facility, they saw a crowd of people waiting, all looking eager and nervous.
Suddenly, the lights dimmed, then brightened, and a man with a bob cut and a suit on stepped forward, his devilish grin and ambitious aura filling the room.
"Congratulations, you unpolished gems," he began, "My data tells me that you are the best young strikers, that are under 18 in Japan. But let me be clear - you are all useless as you are now. That will change. My name is Jinpachi Ego. I was hired to make Japan win the World Cup. And in this facility, one of you standing in this room will rise up and claim that victory for our nation."
We then hear another voice, of a teen, Yoichi Isagi, "Jinpachi Ego," he addressed the man, his voice strong and unwavering. "I was invited here for the chance to be trained and become the best in the world. And I want you to hear my declaration. Japan will win the World Cup, and I will lead them there with the goals that I score alone."
Ego's grin widened, Isagi's declaration caused a ripple effect throughout the room, and many other young strikers began to see the opportunity that Blue Lock could offer them.
As Isagi walked through the Blue Lock facilities, he finally found the room designated "Z". Upon entering, he was greeted by Kira, who expressed his relief at not being the only one there.
Isagi responded with a smile, then turned his attention to the other players in the room.
"That one's big and muscly," he thought to himself, analyzing each player in turn. "He'll be troublesome for one on ones."
Isagi's eyes then drifted to the person sleeping on the floor. "Weirdo," he muttered under his breath.
Finally, he looked over at Kira and said confidently, "And he's going to be an issue. But no matter who the opponent is, the moment I put on this uniform, I win."
Suddenly, the big screen flickered on, and Ego's face appeared. "Yo, Diamonds in the rough, This is your first test," he declared, prompting a chorus of confused murmurs from the room.
"There's too many of you in this room. We got to get that number down," Ego continued. "So, let's play a simple game of tag. Whoever is it, when the time runs out, will go home."
As the ball landed in front of Isagi, he remained expressionless. Ego's face morphed into a countdown timer. He watched as the timer on the screen began to count down from a few minutes.
With the clock ticking, Isagi suddenly spoke up, "Tell me, what do you all want to become from this? And don't say 'the best striker,' because that's me."
Without hesitation, a blonde-haired boy shouted out, "I'll become the best, no matter what!"
But his confidence was short-lived as Isagi immediately hit him in the stomach with the ball, making him the one who was "it."
From there, Isagi went on a rampage, by stealing the ball from the blonde-haired boy and then targeting the other players in the room one by one.
He watched as the boy with long red hair tried to outrun him, only to be hit in the back with the ball. Isagi's process of stealing the ball back and targeting people continued until the muscly boy with orange-haired boy stepped in and tried to stop him. "Stop playing dirty," the orange-haired boy protested.
Isagi looked at him, a hint of a smirk on his face. "Dirty?" he repeated. "I'm just playing to win. And if you can't keep up, then that's not my problem."
Isagi ignored the protests of the orange-haired kid and turned to a player with a buzz-cut. "And you, you're the weakest here"
The kid looked confused.
With a confident smirk, Isagi sent the ball in his direction, and to the shock of the others, it curved around the buzz-cut kid's head and hit Kira in the face.
It was clear that Isagi knew this would happen and had purposefully aimed for Kira.
As the others stared in amazement, the time limit for the game ran out.
"W-wait, why me? I'm not the worst here, he is!" Kira protested, pointing at the buzz-cut kid. "Why would you go for me?" His anger was palpable.
"Because I've seen you play," Isagi replied calmly. "You rely too much on your teammates to score, while I score when I want to because I have the ability to do so. You do not."
Kira tried to argue, but Ego interrupted, kicking him out of Blue Lock.
Isagi watched as Kira stormed out of the room, and then turned to face the other players. "
Remember this moment," he said confidently. "Let it burn into your mind, that if you disobey my commands, you will lose, and get kicked out, losers."
(A/N i will not go over the moment in the interview with Sae Itoshi, since nothing new happens there. Apologies for the short chapter, I would like to do the moment with Isagi and Bachira in a new chapter, and so on. Take care!)
