"Hello, Kawai," Tamiko greeted like he wasn't making their blood pressure spike with every second they were there and he didn't say shit. Yet now that he had spoken, they were responding softly.
They weren't sure if this was the last time they would ever see their lives or if this was the hell that they needed to brace themselves for. It was crazy, how shit had gotten so fast but it wasn't something that Tamiko cared to even think about.
This wasn't about the time that he had been hurt, no.
This was about a new beginning.
"I know you are probably curious about why I rang the bell and got you all here instead of using the mind links. As many of you know, I am a man with no Erasthai," Tamiko spoke, and Kosta stilled.
He had not expected this.
There was something about Tamiko's tone.
Something about the way that he stood there casually, not bothering to even look at Kosta.
