Joshua Sulliven raised his hand to drape the blanket back over Keira Leaf, stretched out his long arm, and pulled her closer to him.
"How come? Are you still angry?"
He lifted his fingers, gently wiping away the tear at the corner of her eyes that was about to spill, his voice softened a few notches.
Keira Leaf turned her head away, looking like she suffered great injustice, her eyes red and swollen, resembling a frightened bunny.
"So young, yet why such a big temper?" Joshua Sulliven hugged her, forcibly pressing her small head against his shoulder.
Keira Leaf didn't dodge this time but remained silent, softly sniffing her nose, as if listening to his murmured words, the pain and discomfort around her seemed more bearable.
"Are you not angry anymore? It's my fault today, I was wrong..."
