It was lunchtime when they went back. By the time they arrived, lunch was already prepared.
The elderly man sat in the wheelchair, his hair snowy white. Seeing them coming back, a smile still appeared on his thin face.
"Grandpa," Tilly Flower was the first to approach Old Phoenix and greet him.
Since Tilly never had a grandfather and was close to the Phoenix Family, Old Phoenix was just like a real grandfather to her.
Whenever she bullied Sophia Phoenix in the past and caused a scene in front of the adults, Old Phoenix had always sided with her.
For a long time, little Sophia had often wondered who really was Old Phoenix's own grandchild.
Old Phoenix saw her and smiled kindly, holding Tilly's hand and patting it: "Tilly is getting prettier as she grows."
Tilly chuckled: "Grandpa, you've been saying that for almost thirty years."
"Grandpa only speaks the truth. If you don't believe me, ask Sophia," Old Phoenix glanced at Sophia Phoenix.
