"Anna?" Jeanette Warren frowned slightly as she looked at her, then spoke somewhat discontentedly, "Can you please not be like this? No matter what, I'm your mum. And I came to see you for your own good. You and Jeremy Thompson really aren't right for each other; can't you see that?"
Anna furrowed her brows, "Not right for each other?"
"I saw you with Jeremy yesterday, and he was the one driving you home," Jeanette's voice suddenly sharpened. "Anna, how many times do I have to tell you? You and he are not suitable for each other, he is your cousin..."
"He's not my cousin," Anna replied calmly and collectedly, seeing Jeanette's shocked expression, she repeated herself, "Jeremy Thompson is not my cousin!"
"That's impossible!" Jeanette exclaimed, "Jeremy Thompson is Ethan Thompson's son; he is Zachary Thompson and Xander Ainsworth's cousin. How could he possibly not be your cousin?"
