Scarlett Glenn was extremely puzzled; Thomas usually answered her calls promptly.
What she didn't know was that Thomas was now sweating profusely, sitting on the sofa, surrounded by several people, with them encircling him, and across from him... sat Morgan Glenn.
In Morgan's hand was Thomas's mobile phone. "Not going to answer?"
Thomas's body trembled non-stop, his face pale, sweat beads continuously rolling down, and fear and anxiety filled his eyes. "No... better not... What exactly do you, you all, want to do?"
Morgan gently slid his finger across the screen of Thomas's mobile phone, always passing the green answer button.
It was heart-racing for Thomas to watch.
