"Please step out of the car, Lieutenant of National Security."
The Border Guards sergeant briskly jogged over to the passenger side and saluted towards the car. Upon seeing the blue peaked cap, the young sergeant's eye twitched slightly.
"Alright, Sergeant."
Perhaps having seen this reaction many times, the lieutenant showed a slight kind smile, moved the machine gun resting on his lap to the car door, opened it, and stepped out.
In front was a standard Border Guard checkpoint: two machine gun bunkers, a patrol squad, two barricades made of wood and barbed wire, and a border guard green-painted wooden sentry box.
