Amanda Smith stood at the entrance of the hall, her gaze shifting between Lily Smith and Sky Moore, her eyes wandering uncertainly.
Hearing Amanda Smith's voice, Lily nearly threw the remote she was holding. She looked up to see Amanda and awkwardly called out, "Mom… why are you back?"
"You didn't go to school?"
Amanda Smith came back to her senses and slowly walked in, approaching both Lily Smith and Sky Moore.
Skipping school so blatantly surprised Amanda Smith.

Lily Smith's expression was stunned for a moment, she hadn't thought of an excuse yet, and Amanda Smith already noticed the bandaged wound on Sky Moore's arm.
"Sky, what happened to your arm?"
Sky Moore felt overwhelmed.
They had originally planned to keep it from Amanda Smith, but didn't expect to be discovered as soon as she returned. Sky was thinking of an excuse when he heard Lily hurriedly explaining, "Mommy, I accidentally bit him."
