Hadley Morrison left, and not long after, Lily Smith heard footsteps approaching from not far away. She slightly lifted her head and saw Sky Moore with a grim expression coming from the nearby woods. His complexion looked very bad, his pair of dark and deep eyes carrying a hint of chill as he walked slowly toward her from not far away.
Lily Smith was startled by his expression and got up from the ground, looking up at Sky Moore as he walked over to her.
"What's wrong with you?" She looked at him, puzzled. Why did he look as if he had swallowed gunpowder, his face all darkened?
Sky Moore didn't speak. He just squatted down, bowed his head to look at her, then stretched out his hand and pressed it against her forehead—at the same spot where Hadley Morrison had just kissed her.
"What's wrong with you?" Lily Smith couldn't help asking again.
Sky Moore looked at her and, before she could react, suddenly kissed her.
