Lily Smith looked at him suspiciously: "Do you know where to find fireflies?"
"Just a guess." The man winked mysteriously at her and then led her deep into the forest. Gradually, the specks of light around them became more distinct, clusters of tiny glowing dots in the pitch-black forest like little lanterns, stunningly beautiful.
A faint mist floated in the air, and the soil under their feet felt noticeably moist. After passing a patch of woods, a vast lake appeared before them.
The huge round moon reflected on the lake's surface, sprinkling a handful of golden shards onto the clear water, shimmering as the breeze passed by.
What completely mesmerized Lily Smith, were the elfin-like tiny creatures floating on the water's surface. They gathered together, dispersed and reconvened with the breeze, like little glowing clouds twinkling with dreamlike radiance in the pitch-black night sky, a vision so enchanting it felt like a dream.
