Chapter 170: Door

---Anywhere Door---

Madara had grown weaker, and in just two years, he had aged drastically. His once strong and healthy body had deteriorated, leaving him frail and sickly. The toll on his body was severe, and it was clear that he was no longer the powerhouse he once was.

Meanwhile, Setsuna was preparing for a journey to Ryumyaku—the place where the legend of chakra was said to have begun.

Roran was a unique and mysterious place within the Naruto universe, primarily due to the existence of Ryumyaku, also known as the Dragon Vein. According to ancient legends, a dragon was the first creature to wield chakra, but for unknown reasons, it was gravely injured. During that time, the ruling queen of Roran desperately tried to save the dragon, but despite her efforts, she ultimately failed.

However, the dragon, feeling indebted to the queen for her attempt to save him, chose to repay her in an extraordinary way. It granted the queen and her descendants the ability to control chakra, even though humans at that time were not yet capable of using and controlling chakra. This event occurred long before the arrival of the Otsutsuki Clan, who planted the seed so the tree would grow and introduced the first chakra fruit to the world.

This time, Setsuna had chosen to bring Kagami, Kirito, and Uzukage with him to visit the Queen of Roran.

"Sensei, we're ready," said Kirito, adjusting his stance.

"Yeah," Kagami added with a confident smile.

Normally, Setsuna would only bring Kagami along on his travels, but Kirito had matured a lot ever since he became a father. Because of this, Setsuna wanted to pass on his knowledge and experience to him as well.

Within Setsuna's hierarchy of students, there were three who held special importance to him. Kagami was the first, followed by a member of the Chinoike Clan. Kirito was the third, as he was one of the few people whom Setsuna had personally rescued and brought back to Uzushiogakure.

"So, are we using your Kamui this time?" asked Uzukage, curious about how they would travel.

"Nope, Father. This time, we'll be using technology," replied Setsuna with a smirk. He then retrieved a special device from his inventory—a gift from the system—and held it up for them to see.

Everyone stared at it with intrigue.

"What is that, Sensei?" Kirito asked, eyeing the strange-looking object.

"This," Setsuna said, "is the Anywhere Door."

"Anywhere Door?" Kagami repeated, narrowing his eyes.

"Yes. This device allows us to travel anywhere simply by saying the location out loud. It can take us to any place on this planet instantly," Setsuna explained.

Kagami's eyes widened in disbelief. "Sensei… I've never heard of this before!" he exclaimed. He had always thought he knew most of Setsuna's secrets, but once again, his teacher had managed to surprise him.

Setsuna chuckled. "That's because I rarely, or you can say never, use it. With Kamui, I already have an easy way to travel, so I never really needed the Anywhere Door."

Hearing this, everyone nodded in understanding. They had already experienced Kamui's teleportation, and they knew just how convenient it was.

"But then, why are you using it now?" Uzukage asked, raising an eyebrow.

Setsuna shrugged. "Well, I figured it was wasting away in storage, so I might as well put it to good use," he said with a grin. "Let me show you how it works."

He stepped forward and placed his hand on the door.

"400 meters from Roran," he commanded.

A moment later, the door's surface shimmered, and with a twist of the doorknob, it swung open. On the other side, a vast desert landscape appeared.

Everyone stared in awe.

"Sensei…" Kagami and Kirito gasped at the same time.

Uzukage, on the other hand, grinned with fascination. "Hand this Anywhere Door over to me, Setsuna," he said.

Setsuna immediately shook his head. "I can't. This item is too dangerous."

Without waiting for further discussion, he stepped through the doorway, crossing into the desert. He then turned back to see the others still standing on the other side.

"What are you all waiting for? Come on in!" Setsuna called out, motioning for them to enter.

With hesitant steps, Kagami and Kirito finally walked through the doorway. As soon as they did, their surroundings changed in an instant. Just moments ago, they had been surrounded by lush green forests, but now, they were standing in the middle of a scorching desert.

"Whoa…" Kirito muttered, turning around in amazement.

"This is incredible!" Kagami added, his eyes shining with excitement.

Setsuna chuckled. "Pretty cool, huh?"

Both students nodded enthusiastically.

Meanwhile, Uzukage's expression turned serious. "Setsuna, I need this device. Give it to me."

Setsuna sighed, already expecting this request. "Father-in-law, that's impossible. The Anywhere Door is unlike a normal portal—it's extremely dangerous if it falls into the wrong hands."

He paused before adding, "The only reason I even showed this to you is because you're my father-in-law and because I trust Kagami and Kirito as my students. That's it."

"Just let me have one! I promise I'll only use it for personal matters," Uzukage pleaded.

"I'm sorry, Father, but there's only one of these," Setsuna said firmly.

"Then give me this one!" Uzukage demanded.

Setsuna's expression hardened. "Father, do you even realize the consequences if this item falls into the wrong hands? If someone manages to replicate it, they could enter Uzushiogakure unnoticed. That's too dangerous."

Uzukage hesitated but then insisted, "I'll use it secretly."

Setsuna let out a frustrated sigh. He knew Uzukage wouldn't let this go, so instead of arguing, he sealed the Anywhere Door inside his Kamui dimension and refused to acknowledge the request any further.

Seeing this, Uzukage crossed his arms and pouted. "You're no fun, Setsuna…" he muttered.

Setsuna simply rolled his eyes and moved on, leaving Uzukage to grumble to himself.

Seeing Uzukage's frustration, Kagami and Kirito exchanged amused glances. It wasn't every day that they saw someone arguing with Setsuna sensei and losing to him.

"Father-in-law, you're being greedy," Kirito teased with a grin while mimicking Setsuna voice.

Uzukage shot him a glare. "You don't understand the value of this item. Do you know how much easier life would be if we had this?"

Setsuna smirked. "That's exactly why I'm not giving it to you."

Realizing he wouldn't win, Uzukage sighed dramatically. "Fine, fine. But if you ever created another one—"

"Not happening," Setsuna interrupted.

Kirito and Kagami laughed, and with that, they set off toward Roran, eager to meet the legendary Queen of Roran.
