Cui Lu endured the pain and nodded her head, when she suddenly heard a "crack" sound. She saw Situ Changge lift her arm, and Cui Lu's broken arm was restored to its original state.
"Ah—"
Cui Lu cried out in pain, unable to stop the tears, and Xiang Yun quickly embraced her, patting her back and coaxing, "Cui Lu, be good, don't cry, don't cry, Master Situ will tease you; don't cry..."
Situ Changge watched her sincere expression, a hint of a smile swept across his eyes. The corners of his mouth lifted slightly, and amidst a light laugh, he grasped Cui Lu's other arm. With another "crack", he set that arm as well.
The pain in that arm had not yet subsided, and now, struck by another bout, Cui Lu screamed out and collapsed crying in Xiang Yun's bosom. Xiang Yun kept patting her back, gently coaxing her. Only when Cui Lu finally stopped crying did Xiang Yun realize Situ Changge had disappeared.
"Oh? Where's Master Situ?"
