Morningstar Mansion...
Pop~
With a soft pop,
Leo and Bellatrix apparated just outside the majestic gates of the Morningstar Mansion.
Bellatrix held on to Leo's hand a bit longer than needed.
Even though she was perfectly capable of apparating herself, there was a calmness she found in travelling by his side—
His presence anchored her like nothing else.
As the iron gates creaked open and they stepped through the grand doors, warm laughter and lively chatter drifted from the drawing room.
Inside, Leo spotted Mavis, Kejoro, Setsura, and Wakana seated cross-legged on a lush carpet, a deck of enchanted cards spread out between them.
From the intense expressions and glittering galleons piled beside them,
It was clear they were deep in a betting match—
One with pride on the line more than a coin.
"I told you, Setsura's bluffing."
Mavis teased, smirking.
Smirk~
"No way, she's got the dragon hand."
Kejoro countered.
But the moment Leo's footsteps echoed in the room, the game came to a halt.
Heads turned, eyes widened, and the atmosphere shifted instantly.
"Leo…?"
Wakana whispered.
Leo offered a gentle smile, one that melted time between them.
Bellatrix stepped to the side with a soft smirk, letting him have this moment.
Smirk~
He opened his arms, and in a heartbeat, they rushed into them—
Mavis first, followed by Wakana, then Kejoro and Setsura.
It was a flurry of relief, joy, and longing all crashing at once.
He pulled them close and placed a kiss on each of their foreheads.
The gesture made all four blush faintly, but none pulled away.
It was Leo's way of saying, "I've kept my promise."
And they understood.
"The connection is real now."
Leo said softly.
"From now on, you can move between worlds. You can go home… or stay. As you wish."
There was a moment of quiet—
Reverent and full of emotion.

Then, casually, he set the enchanted suitcase down on the polished marble floor.
THUD.
"And I've brought some guests you might remember…"
With a knowing smile tugging at his lips,
He opened the suitcase and turned to the four women before him—
Mavis, Wakana, Setsura, and Kejoro.
"Shall we?"
He asked, stepping aside with a theatrical gesture.
Bellatrix mirrored his smile with her own sly grin and gave them a teasing wink, as if to say, "You'll want to see this."
Though none of them spoke, they understood perfectly.
Leo's expression, the glint in his eyes, the faint hum of magic from the open suitcase—
It all pointed to something extraordinary.
And they were already grinning with excitement, even before stepping in.
"Don't tell me this is that suitcase."
Wakana said, eyes lighting up.
"The one from Mavis's world tour?"
Kejoro added, already moving toward it.
Mavis chuckled knowingly.
Chuckle~
"Of course it is. I enchanted it myself… and filled it with magical creatures we rescued and raised together. I knew he'd do something special with it."
Without further hesitation, they followed Leo into the suitcase.
Inside,
They found themselves in the familiar, cosy farmhouse nestled in the heart of a vast, enchanted forest.
The warm wooden interior, flickering lanterns,
And the faint scent of magical herbs welcomed them like an old friend.
As they stepped out of the farmhouse and onto the grass,
The open forest greeted them—
Lush, vibrant, and alive with magic.
But something was off.
"____"
Leo scanned the surroundings.
The clearing was quiet, almost too quiet.
None of the monsters, yokai, were in sight.
The wildlife sanctuary that was usually brimming with energy now hummed with silence.
Leo's eyes narrowed slightly, then relaxed as realisation dawned.
"Ah… of course,"
He murmured.
"Eileen must've taken everyone on a tour."
"Smart move,"
Bellatrix said, stretching her arms as she looked around.
Mavis took in the serene view, her heart full at seeing the sanctuary thriving.
"Feels like coming home,"
She said softly.
Leo smiled and nodded.
Nod~
"Then wait until you see who's come visiting."
Suddenly, the peaceful atmosphere of the sanctuary was shattered by a loud, high-pitched scream.
"AAAAHHH! NOT MY HAIR! NOT THE—HEY! THAT'S MY—AAAHH!"
Everyone turned just in time to see Jonathan sprinting toward them at full speed, arms flailing, face contorted in comical panic.
A mischievous swarm of Cronix Pixies—
Small, glowing, winged creatures with gleeful, devilish grins—
Chased him through the clearing.
Kekekeke~
They were zipping around him, yanking at his shirt, pulling his hair, zapping him lightly with sparks of playful magic,
And one particularly bold pixie was wearing his shoe like a crown.
Kekekeke~
"They won't leave me alone!"
Jonny shouted, leaping over a small bush,
"They stole my sock and bit me!"
The Cronix Pixies shrieked with delight,
Clearly treating the whole chase like their favourite game.
They weren't trying to hurt him—
They were having the time of their lives.
From behind the treeline, the rest of the group emerged—
Dracula, Nene, Rikuo, and the yokai entourage,
All trailing behind at various paces.
Some were wide-eyed at the magical creatures surrounding them,
And others were still recovering from the shock of their new environment.
Dracula, however, had completely given up trying to maintain his usual dignified composure.
He was laughing.
HAHAHAHA!
Not just a chuckle—
But a full-on, shoulders-shaking, tears-in-his-eyes kind of laugh.
"Bwahaha! Oh, Jonny… finally, the universe balances itself!"
He wheezed between gasps.
"All the pain you caused me over the years… this makes it worth it!"
Jonny stumbled behind Leo and clutched his robes.
"Leo! Do something, man! They're gonna scalp me!"
Leo gave him a dry look, then slowly turned to the pixies.
With just a slight raise of his eyebrow and a flicker of his magic aura, the entire swarm halted midair like startled cats.
They looked at Leo, blinked once, and immediately turned into innocent little darlings, hovering with folded hands and angelic expressions.
Mavis leaned closer to Setsura, whispering with a smirk,
Smirk~
"It's always funny how fast they remember who's in charge."
Setsura giggled.
"They know better than to cross him."
Jonathan slumped onto the grass, catching his breath, muttering,
"This place is insane. I love it… But it's insane."
The forest echoed with laughter, and even the magical creatures seemed to join in.
When Mavis caught sight of her family—
Her father, Dracula, her mother, Martha, and her sister Darcy, whose rounded belly clearly showed the signs of her pregnancy.
With a joyful cry,
Mavis rushed forward and enveloped them in a tight embrace, laughter bubbling through her tears.
"It's only been two months for you… But for me, it's been years."
They held her tightly,
Stunned by how much she had changed—
Stronger, more mature, glowing with the thrill of adventure.
She pulled them gently toward the farmhouse, already talking a mile a minute, eager to share her stories.
Tales of journeying with Leo through the Nurarihyon no Mago world, of battles, friendships, and her current life in the world of Harry Potter.
Jonathan eagerly followed,
Eyes wide with curiosity.
He was clearly hooked on her every word, completely immersed in this magical family reunion.
Elsewhere,
Wakana's eyes welled with tears as her gaze fell on her son.
"Rikuo…"
Without hesitation, he wrapped his arms around her tightly.
"I missed you, Mom."
He tried to keep his composure, tried to act tough like usual—
But the years apart had taken their toll.
Tears streamed down his cheeks as Wakana held him,
Gently stroking his hair, whispering words of comfort only a mother could.

Nurarihyon watched them silently, his usual playful smirk replaced by a soft, proud expression.
Around him, other yokai looked on, visibly moved by the reunion.
Meanwhile, Setsura spotted her daughter, Tsurara, standing nearby with an excited glint in her eye.
"Oi, Tsurara~! Don't think you're getting away from a mother-daughter talk!"
Tsurara grinned just like her mother, skipping over without hesitation.
Grin~
"Like I'd miss it, Mom."
The two vanished into the woods,
Their laughter trailing behind them as they went off to catch up in private—
Likely sharing secrets, teasing each other,
And exchanging stories that neither could tell in front of others.
Kejoro was already surrounded by a group of old friends,
All excitedly chattering, catching up on everything that had happened since they were last together.
Laughter echoed from the group, the sound of long-separated hearts reconnecting.
In the midst of it all,
Leo stood slightly off to the side, a small smile playing at his lips as he watched the joyful chaos unfold.
His presence had made this possible—
Yet he remained quiet, just content to observe.
His expression was warm…
But there was a flicker of loneliness in his eyes, a shadow that passed quickly but didn't go unnoticed.
Bellatrix, standing beside him, rested a gentle hand on his shoulder.
Her gaze softened.
She could see it clearly—
Leo had brought everyone's families together.
Helped rekindle their bonds.
But… not his own.
He never spoke of them, never brought them up.
Because there was no one to bring.
No parents to reunite with.
No family is waiting for him in any world.
Bellatrix didn't speak.
She simply stayed there, close, her hand steady on his shoulder—
Offering the silent comfort of someone who understood what pain could look like behind a smile.
Leo didn't say anything either.
But the warmth of her hand made the loneliness just a little easier to bear.
Hogwarts…
All the professors were gathered in the Headmaster's office.
The usual warmth of the room felt subdued, even the crackling fire in the hearth seemed to burn quieter than usual.
A heavy silence hung in the air,
Broken only by the occasional turning of a parchment or the tapping of nervous fingers against polished wood.

Leo's absence was deeply felt.
He was on medical leave, officially.
But even those who didn't always agree with him couldn't deny—
Hogwarts hadn't been the same since he arrived.
And now, without him here, a sense of unease crept in once more.
Professor McGonagall sat at the head of the table, arms crossed, her expression firm but concerned.
"We've all seen the reports. The Ministry just confirmed it—Voldemort has escaped Azkaban. Worse, he's taken control of it."
Gasps and murmurs broke out among the professors.
Flitwick looked concerned.
Sprout's fingers tightened around her teacup.
"And the Aurors?"
asked Professor Vector.
"Overwhelmed,"
said McGonagall.
"They're trying to contain the breakout, but… It's a mess. He didn't just free Death Eaters—he let out every kind of prisoner. Magical criminals who haven't seen the light in decades. It's chaos."
Professor Burbage frowned deeply.
"If Voldemort is loose… he'll come for Hogwarts eventually."
"That's what we're here to prevent,"
McGonagall said sharply.
"Hogwarts must remain a sanctuary. A safe ground for all our students, regardless of their bloodline, background, or house."
She paused, glancing at an empty chair at the table—
Leo's chair.
"Ever since Professor Morningstar arrived, we've seen… change. Students who used to look down on Muggle-borns now partner with them. Friendships across houses, a decrease in violence, a rise in cooperation."
"The blood superiority ideals were slowly beginning to fade."
Slughorn nodded gravely.
Nod~
"He had a strange way about him, that one. But he got through to the children in ways we couldn't."
"Now that Voldemort is back… those same old toxic ideals might resurface. The fear will make them cling to blood status again."
Slugon finally spoke, voice low and unreadable.
"Fear is the perfect soil for division."
There was a long silence again.

"We'll need to increase security."
McGonagall finally said.
"More patrols, magical barriers—something akin to what Leo suggested before. And we must remain united. No matter what is happening out there, Hogwarts must stand as a beacon of what our world should be."
Flitwick nodded.
Nod~
"I'll see to the enchantments."
"And I'll speak with the House Prefects,"
said Sprout.
"Let's ensure the students know the staff is present and vigilant. Reassurance is key."
McGonagall gave a grateful nod.
Nod~
Still, despite the strategies and spells, one thought haunted every mind in the room:
'Where was Leo now—and would he return in time… before the darkness reaches the heart of the students?'
Meanwhile…
At the Potter Estate...
Under the cover of night,
Voldemort and his Death Eaters emerged from the darkness like a storm.
No warning. No sound.
Only intent—
To erase the entire Potter family from existence.
They surrounded the grand Potter estate in the countryside,
Masked faces lit only by the faint glow of wands.
Shadows slithered across the lawn as curses began raining down on the protective enchantments.
"Tonight,"
Voldemort hissed, his voice like cold steel,
"Not a single Potter leaves this house alive."
The wards shimmered and groaned,
Resisting the assault with every ounce of ancient magic layered into them.
The Potter family, known for generations of power and valour, had not lived blindly.
They were prepared—
But even so, the sheer force of the attack began to crack the outer defences.
Inside the mansion, chaos had broken loose.
James's cousin,
Arthur Potter barked out orders while shielding the younger members.
Spells flew across the grand hallway.
Windows shattered.
Portraits screamed and fled.
Protective enchantments lit up the walls in brilliant gold before blinking out, one by one.
"They're breaching the wards!"
Yelled Dora Potter from the upper floor.
"Get the children to the safe rooms! Shields up!"
Another voice shouted.
But it was too late.
With a blinding explosion of dark energy, the wards shattered.
The front doors burst open.
And the Death Eaters stormed in.
Green and red flashes of spells collided mid-air.
Family members retaliated with fierce resistance.
Many of the Potters were skilled duelists—
Veterans, when it comes to battle.
They did not go down easily.
Spells like Fianto Duri, Protego Maxima, and Reducto lit up the house like a thunderstorm.
Then came the reinforcements—
Aurors, apparating to the location in waves.
"Fall in! Protect the Potters!"
But as quickly as they arrived, so too did more Death Eaters, bolstered by recent Azkaban escapees.
Battle erupted in every corridor, staircase, and room of the estate.
The Potters had 45 members in total, and 40 were present that night.
They were fighting not just for their lives, but for their legacy.
And in the shadows of the chaos, Voldemort strode inside—
Unhurried, calm, confident.
His crimson eyes swept the burning corridor.
"The seed of my death lies in this house…"
He whispered.
"Then let this house be turned to ash."
