A figure hurled downwards, and water erupted in all directions.
A biting cold pierced Delilah in all directions as she felt the water embrace her body from all sides. Feeling subtle convulsions coming from her arm, Delilah's expressionless face showed signs of change.
'...What is happening?'
It all happened so suddenly and unexpectedly that she found herself unable to comprehend the situation.
It was right as she touched the blood.
Something within her stirred, and she found her body freezing up.
It made absolutely no sense to her, and even now, she was struggling to take control of her body as she continued to feel the strange blood boiling sensation.
...It was almost as if her own blood was alive, stirring with some sort of weird energy that she couldn't control.
She wanted to figure out more about the blood, but she knew this wasn't the time.
