"The Seven Great Sages formed an allegiance, defying the Saints, consequently they all faced calamity, nearly all perishing before the Supreme Unity Gate.
"Even Changsheng, during his first attempt to breach Supreme Unity, failed miserably for this reason. His second attempt also encountered interference from the teacher, which was a destined karma.
"Both the third brother and Changsheng are unable to escape karma, naturally Lu Ya cannot escape it either.
"Lu Ya claimed to precede the teacher, thus entangled in karma with him. He claimed to obtain the initial mix of the Dao, avoiding the delight of Flat Peach longevity, abstaining from an audience with Lord in Xuandu, refraining to pledge allegiance at the Jade Void Gate, hence entangled in karma with myself and the second brother. If he were merely Lu Ya, he was destined to die."
At this point, Saint Taiqing concluded with finality: "Thus Lu Ya died."
The logic of karma, everything is quite reasonable.
