Chapter 1 - FAMILY AND FRIENDS

He is a well-known, wealthy man.

Contrary to popular belief, he is not as intelligent. He established an empire for his family and a corporate group to elevate his village, turning it into a prosperous destination for tourists and the affluent. This success has made the Durler family quite wealthy, with Judy Durler presiding over the Durler empire and the Durylic group.

But why was he lying paralyzed in the mental ward? Beside him were his mistress, Talia Novah, and his daughter, Casy Novah, a two-year-old child innocently playing with a rusted necklace her father had given her, oblivious to the situation.

He watched his innocent daughter, unblemished by the world's corruption, playing with a rusted necklace—a gift from her great-grandfather, Talia's grandfather. It served as a talisman of protection and stirred memories of his own childhood and upbringing.

He was an orphan adopted by the Durlers, a family with limited resources. He wed one of their daughters, who, he believed, was the mother of a son almost his age. Having been adopted and engaged to her, he has come to accept these circumstances and considers her son as his stepchild.

Rumors suggest that he was a child of incest, between her and her deceased brother., However, he did not take it personally. They have been married for years but have never shared any intimacy. She also refuses to take his surname, but he doesn't mind. To him, Judy Durler is merely the public face of their marriage, which exists only in name.

Later, he became involved with a mistress who had a mysterious past. He knew only of her grandfather, who had also disappeared without a trace, and Talia was aware only of her grandfather, with no knowledge of her parents.

She blessed him with a daughter and was expecting another child, which he considered a blessing. He was prepared to elevate her to the status of his second wife, but circumstances changed.

Why was he in this situation?

He has no enemies; why are they after his blood? Why is his innocent daughter being sacrificed? Why are his unborn child and wife being accused of his poisoning?

He was going to be locked up here, with his wife and daughter facing imprisonment for the rest of their lives.

He has no escape, as they were to bid their final farewell before being sent to jail and juvenile detention.

Rexy Novah can't allow anything to happen to his bloodline. He must take action, or his lineage will be condemned to slavery for an unknown period.

He looked at rusted necklace that Casy was playing.

"Hey, young man, you know our meeting was destined to happen," said the older man, eyeing the uninterested youth.

The young man raised an eyebrow. "So, you don't believe in destiny?"

"Hey, old Paps, what's going on with this?" he asked, impatiently. "Can you be more direct? I have a lot of things to do."

The old man sighed. "Young people these days... Fine, I'll get to the point. Your marriage to my granddaughter has been finalized."

"What? But I never agreed to that!" the young man protested.

"It doesn't matter now. I have no time left," the old man said, handing the young man a rusted necklace.

"This is for your protection and the protection of your bloodline," he continued, his voice grave. "But remember, there's a price. I hope you'll never have to resort to this, because if you do, they will find you both. She is the last of her kind, the pure-blood of the Divine Moon Clan, just like you. As for you, they hide deep... so I won't tell you where. Please, only use it if there is no other way out."

"Hey, Talia, dear, I've made a decision. I can't let you and our children end up in prison, so I've decided to pay a price, even though I have no idea what it might be," he said, his voice heavy with resolve.

"Don't cry," he continued, seeing the tears welling up in her eyes. "Take that necklace and smear my blood on it. Don't delay—they'll be here any moment."

Talia did as she was told, this being her last hope as well.

But after several minutes, nothing happened, and despair began to creep in.

Before he could shout in frustration, the door was kicked open, and his adopted parents, his wife Judy, and his stepson entered the room.

Before anyone could say a word, the rust on the necklace fell away, releasing a bright light that froze everyone in place.

When the light faded, only the Durler family remained—Rexy and his family had vanished without a trace.

Strangely, the Durlers did not panic. Instead, they smiled.

"Dad was right about them. But do they really think they can escape?" one of them sneered.

"Don't get too excited," Judy cautioned her son. "We don't know where that necklace has sent them, but don't worry. Your father placed a trace mark on them."

She pulled out a clear crystal from her ring. "It was activated with Rexy's blood, not Talia's, and it acted before we could react."

"Don't worry—they've been sent to the Universal Garden."

"But that's the most dangerous place in the universe! Will we succeed? We only have a small amount of their blood."

"Don't worry," Judy reassured him. "All we needed was a trace of their blood to open those realms and access the treasure. Now our Durler family will rise again. Hurry back—people will start suspecting us if we linger."

Somewhere in the starry expanse...

"My friends, it seems your descendants have returned. But you won't believe this—your father married your daughter to your greatest rival! Ha ha-ha, how amusing. But they're in a dangerous situation now," a voice echoed in the darkness, accompanied by two glowing eyes.

On a snowy mountain...

A young woman stood alone, her breath visible in the cold air.

"Sister, you're back, but I promised Grandfather I wouldn't help. He told me you're married now and have a happy family. So, why are you here?" she whispered to herself, her voice tinged with sorrow.

"This time, without backing, they'll hunt you down. The Universal Garden's protection will fade in about a hundred years. If you're still alive by then, they'll come for you," she warned the wind.

"Young man, you've arrived earlier than expected," a voice echoed through the void. "Take this time to grow strong in that place and take care of my granddaughter and great-grandchildren. Be prepared to face her when her memories return. That is my final gift to you. Your parents saved my family—this is the least I can do for them."
