"He'll be fine. He's just running temperature," Audrey said to Lake.
They were back in Mikhail's room, and Audrey needed to say something to Lake so he wouldn't question his sickness again.
"You can't heal him?" Lake sounded worried.
Audrey shook her head, "It's not that serious, and it's not every time I use magic on him; I want him to experience childhood like a normal child." She said.
Lake observes her, he believes her, and he loves her.
He felt awful for his actions earlier; he had almost lost it with her, and it was because he was scared that something might have happened to them. Sometimes, caring for someone might just turn out to be more dangerous than the danger we fear they might face.
He has to learn how to manage his emotions; he never wants to have any fights with her again.
"Come on, Moma. I'll get someone to take care of him for a few hours." He held her hand.
Audrey frowned, "Where are we going?" glancing at his son, who was still sleeping on the bed.
