CHAPTER 14
Solvired Kingdom: Part 13
….
The sun has risen. It is a new day. Healing up completely from the Thurn incident, Prince, Hakuji, Thomas and Violet have set on a journey to a new place, the Foremn Cave. They are going to the planned place, riding on horses. There are supposed to be 10 more people with them but right now, nobody is with them. It's just the four of them.
While the horse was running rapidly, Violet asked, "Prince, you mentioned that you felt some presence there. What did you mean by that?"
"Inside the cave, there lies an ancient cemetery. Mostly, people can feel the presence but there are also cases where a person didn't feel any presence. Sometimes the presence is weak, sometimes strong. There are also cases of death of humans in that cave though there was no animal's presence near the cave," Prince replied. He wasn't smiling and his face is straight now.
"They must have some real guts to make a base there," Hakuji said.
"They do. They most likely have a large army so they don't fear them as they can easily defeat any spirit. Especially, how that guy has this new technique. I can't imagine how powerful that power can be. Maybe more powerful than normal ones," said the Prince.
"How can you tell, Prince? It can be weaker too," said Violet.
"Didn't you see? He blasted the Thurn's head off. Thurn's skin is iron-hard and he blasted it with one blow. Not only was his power strong but he also trained a lot," Prince said and Hakuji added another line to it, "also smart,"
"Yeah," To Prince's response, Violet asked how. To which Prince replied, "That Thurn was just a baby. It killed 14 of our strongest adventurers and in total it killed 23 adventurers. No way, a baby killed this many. Tromins were using the Thurn to lure adventurers. When Adventurers came, Tromins ambushed everyone and killed them, making our defense weak so they could attack and take over the Kingdom one day. Also, they managed to lure us. Just if we hadn't escaped that place that day, this Kingdom would be at the hands of Bandits and the town of Chaos," Prince said.
Violet didn't respond to it but thought in her mind, "Minds of leaders work so much. That guy made this good plan and it took Prince such a short time to figure it out."
"Prince, can they be from another kingdom?" Violet asked.
"Can be," Prince replied.
After some time, they reached a certain place where there were 3 men and 1 woman, waiting for them. Each had a horse behind them. They got down from their horses.
"Sorry, for being late," Prince said.
"No, Prince. We are early," said an old man. His normal-sized hair and beard were mostly black with some white.
"I know him. He is my tutor," Violet thought in her mind. The old man's name was DORKON HUILDER. His age was 49. He belongs to the Sorcerer division, using Windy Strike. He was wearing normal clothes like a normal adventurer does. He had the Worker Belt.
An adventurer's normal clothes are a shirt, pants with hidden pockets inside and a jacket or robe with hidden pockets inside. The robe or jacket can have a hoodie or not. Like Dorkon's Jacket has a hoodie.
"They are my tutor too," Violet thought, looking at two other old men beside Dorkon.
The first one was Six Ludger. His age was 57. He was bald and his normal sized beard was white. He was also a Sorcerer using Windy Strike. He also had the Worker Belt. He was wearing adventurer clothes with a jacket.
The second one was Ficon Yods. He was 45. He had normal sized hair and no beard. It was black mostly. He is a Swordsman using Windy Strike. He also had the Worker belt. He was wearing adventurer clothes with a robe.
"But who is she?" Violet thought looking at a Woman. She looked thirty. She had blonde long hair. She was wearing clothes that covered her entire body. She had a robe on top. She didn't have any kind of belt around her waist.
"Violet, you know three of them. Meet her," Prince said.
Silkya Ywatz
Age= 32
Healer
"Nice to meet you," Violet said. Sylkya greeted her nicely too. All of them had a smile on their face.
"Shall we wait for the rest?" Asked Six.
"We shall but there are also some things that should be considered. We are behind the cave. 10 miles from here is the cave. There aren't any humans or animals near 3 miles so we are safe. The cave should have guards near it if that's where the meeting will happen. Hakuji, you'll stay here with Thomas and wait for the others. We'll go sneakily and set positions. We can't kill anyone since it'll make them flee from the place," Prince explained.
"Got it, Prince," everyone said at the same time.
Saying that Prince started running towards the cave, without the horse. Everyone followed him and ran behind him. Hakuji and Thomas stayed in their place.
"Prince, just stood there and could tell if there was anyone near 3 miles? That's a great power to have," Violet thought in her mind.
While running, she noticed something which made her concerned, "Huh? How am I running this fast? I am able to keep up with them. This is impossible."
"Wait, there's a power I feel on me. This power, it's not mine. What? Somebody put a power on me that is making me run faster? Whose power is it?" Violet looked at everyone trying to guess whose power it was.
"What? I can't sense any of their power. How? There's always a power presence coming out of every magic user. I sensed them before but now I can't."
"Prince, there's an extra power placed on me. I can sense it," Violet said to the Prince.
"Don't worry, that's just me," Prince replied.
"Putting this power is necessary. Violet can't keep up with us and we have to get there as fast as possible. The power boosts her speed and stamina to easily keep up with us," Prince thought in his mind.
"Wait, come to think of it, those hooded guys from before, I also couldn't sense their power and Thomas also told me that there were many on the trees too. I couldn't sense any of them. That's why they captured me so easily," Violet thought in her mind.
"Violet is an amateur. She doesn't know how to hide her presence. Putting my power into her makes me able to hide her presence, too. She can feel the power I put on her but she can't tell whose it is," Prince thought in his mind.
"Prince, are you sure this is the right day?" Asked Sylkia.
"The letter had a line saying 'the moon will shine at its highest and assembly will occur.' That means on the day of full-moon, the meeting will be held. Today is the day of the full moon," the Prince explained.
"This also can be a trap. The letter can be pre-planned and those members will just be a sacrifice to lure us. Violet can be the culprit. She can be a snake among us. We go there and when everyone assembles, Violet attacks us from behind. Due to outnumbering and overpowering, we would lose this. Putting my power on her gives me some control over her, giving us a little safety. If she tries to do anything, I can sense it. If she tries to backstab, I'll burn her before she can reach any of us. But burning her will notify them that we are here. We just have to flee again. If Violet is the culprit, I have to praise her. The plan she made was quite nice. She keeps asking me questions. Maybe to gather information and gain knowledge about my point of view. She asked me if they could be from another country. She wants to know how much I have found out about the Tromins. She is such a great actor to do all this. Everything feels so natural. Like she has no power, training and knowledge. What an innocent poor soul. At this point, I don't even know if she is the one. I might be getting caught in the trap," Prince thought in his mind again.

In about 6 minutes, they reached the back of Foremn cave. It was a mountain.
"I don't sense anything. They are using the technique maybe," thought the Prince.
"We'll be using that hole to go in, it leads to the cemetery," Prince explained while pointing towards a hole, located at their right. With that, they entered.
"This can also lead to a trap," thought the Prince.
Walking through the cave was hard since there was no light and the road was narrow. They all had magic cells put in their eyes so they could see in the dark. It didn't make it bright but they were able to see their surroundings.
Suddenly, as Prince was walking, white fog started to gather around him. In a short time, everything became white around the prince. It was foggy everywhere. Prince looked in every direction but couldn't see anyone.
"Fuck! I knew this was a trap. Should I kill her? Would it work? Damn it!" Prince thought in his mind. His face was straight and calm.
"Prince!" from the back, a sound came.
….
"Wait? Where did Prince and Violet go?" asked Six.
"Yeah, they aren't here. They were ahead of us. Where did they go?" said Sylkia.
"Did anyone see them?" said Dorkon.
"I saw that they were up ahead and they just vanished in the dark," reported Six.
As soon as he finished saying that, an orb of water came from behind. They were easily able to dodge it.
"An ambush, shit!" said Ficon. They saw that behind them were 5 hooded men.
….
"Violet?" When Prince turned around he saw Violet standing there.
"She is here but the rest aren't? Should I just kill her when I have the chance?" Prince was confused.
"What happened? Do you know what is happening?" Violet asked.
"Stop the act. What a great actor you are, aren't you?" Prince mumbled in his mind.
