TERMITES

Termites, while sharing a close resemblance to Ants in their humanoid structure and combat approach, possess distinct biological traits that set them apart. Standing upright with human-like faces, Termites are encased in a yellowish exoskeleton—tough and functional, though not as durable as the brown armor of their Ant counterparts. They wield dual mandible blades much like the Ants, using them in precise and efficient combat styles that favor close-quarters engagements and tactical strikes.

What truly distinguishes Termites is their ability to secrete a potent corrosive acid from specialized glands in their arms and backs. This acid is their greatest asset, feared across battlefields for its devastating effectiveness. In combat, they can spray or coat their mandibles with it, allowing them to melt through metal, armor, or organic material with horrifying speed. Even a glancing hit can compromise an opponent's defenses or leave them writhing in pain. Defensively, some Termites deploy acid in a wide arc to repel attackers, creating a zone of danger around them.

While physically less resilient than Ants, Termites make up for it with sheer offensive potential. Their presence on the battlefield often forces enemies to rethink their formations, lest they be undone by a single, well-placed acid strike.
