Chapter 225 - Chapter 234: Because I Don't Know What to Do

Haruto knew that with their talent, they could sense Aura Energy much faster than he did when he first learned it. However, without proper guidance, that talent would only become useless potential.

...

...

...

After several hours passed in intense silence, Haruto finally nodded, satisfied with their progress. "That's enough for today's meditation," he said while stroking his chin. "Now, let's move on to the next stage. Saitama method training!"

The children exchanged glances, confused by the unfamiliar term.

"One hundred push-ups, one hundred sit-ups, one hundred punches, and one hundred kicks! Do it now!" Haruto commanded enthusiastically, causing some of them to swallow nervously.

The room was soon filled with the sounds of hard work: heavy breathing, punches hitting the air, and the creaking of the floor as they moved energetically. Their movements were imperfect, but Haruto knew this was the first step in building a solid foundation.

...

...

...

After they finished, the children collapsed on the floor, sweat soaking their faces.

"Haah... Huhh..." they sighed, the sound of exhaustion filling the room.

"Ehm..." a quiet voice suddenly sounded, drawing Haruto's attention. He turned slowly, his eyes searching for the source of the voice.

Yuna stood hesitantly, Haruto's face showing confusion. "Senior, why do we have to do this punching and kicking training?" Yuna asked, trying to understand the logic behind the method.

Haruto gave a slight grin, a hint of playfulness in his eyes. "Do you really want to know?"

"Yes," Yuna replied, nodding firmly, although confusion was still evident on her face.

Haruto paused for a moment, then answered lightly, "Actually... I don't know what other training to give you."

"What!?" a near-simultaneous outcry erupted from the First Year children. They stared at Haruto with a mix of shock and frustration.

"So, you made us do something useless just because you didn't know how to train us?" Cynthia, who was usually quiet, shouted in a high-pitched tone, her eyes glaring at Haruto.

"Yeah, mostly like that," Haruto replied casually, shrugging. However, before further protests could arise, Haruto continued in a more serious tone, "But I have another reason. The next training will focus on unarmed combat. Basic movements like punching and kicking will help your muscles remember the fundamental patterns first. This is the foundation."

His explanation eased the atmosphere in the room a bit. The children's faces shifted from anger to contemplation. What Haruto said made sense. Before building something great, a strong foundation must be established first.

"We understand," Annie said confidently, although she was still slightly out of breath. "So this helps our muscles remember the basic movements of punching and kicking, so when the actual training starts, we already have that foundation. That way, the training will feel much easier, right?"

Haruto nodded in satisfaction. "Yes, that's right."

"I see," Annie murmured, looking thoughtful.

Then William, who was usually quiet, spoke up. "Does that mean, starting tomorrow, we will all be taught the basics of unarmed fighting?"

Haruto glanced at William and nodded. "Correct. But that's just the beginning. You will also learn how to avoid ranged attacks, fight to gain experience with versatile fighters, and eventually face a figure that is very difficult to defeat." Haruto smiled slightly, hinting at the great challenges that awaited them. "Your training will be very meaningful, so... get ready."

Annie swallowed, doubt evident on her face, but she replied, "We... understand." The other children nodded in agreement, although some looked tense at the thought of the difficulties to come.
