The Blaze Dragon roars and hurls a massive fireball from its mouth. Boa claps his hands once, then a powerful bolt of lightning shoots from the sound of his clap, crashing into the fireball mid-air. The sky erupts in a blinding explosion.
Boa leaps upward, yellow aura surrounding him like a storm. A chorus of whales below him unleash soundwaves that push him higher into the sky. As the soundwaves carry him, Boa absorbs the energy into his body. He spins mid-air, channeling both lightning and sonic power, then fires a giant wave of electrified sound directly at the Blaze Dragon.
The blast slams into the dragon, sending it crashing into the ocean with a violent splash.
Boa hovers above, his hands moving in rhythm. One by one, the whales respond to his gestures, diving into the sea and crashing into the dragon. Each impact bursts into a yellow explosion beneath the waves.
Meanwhile, Melon and the Blaze Dragon slam their heads together in a brutal collision. The dragon ignites in flames, instantly evaporating the water around it, creating a massive sinkhole in the ocean's surface.
With a guttural roar, the dragon shoots upward again, locking eyes with Boa. Their auras clash—fire versus lightning—sparking chaotic bursts of elemental energy with every hit, creating a storm of lightning and fire. They collide repeatedly, each strike shaking the sea and trembling the nearby island.
From a distance, Crank watches the storm nervously. He clenches his fists.
Prekayda slams her staff into the ground. "He needs our help now! Based on his plan, he can control our attacks—fire away!"
All the archers raise their weapons. Thousands of arrows launch into the air from bows and crossbows. Boa's lightning bursts out from the storm, connecting with every arrow. With a graceful wave of his hand, he guides their paths, weaving them through the air like threads.
He then thrusts his hand forward.
The arrows rain down on the dragon, each one sparking a yellow explosion upon impact. Boa twirls his hands again, and the arrows form a massive tornado, engulfing the Blaze Dragon. Despite the storm, the dragon resists.
It retaliates, spitting out a barrage of fireballs. Boa barely dodges, flipping through the air.
Jen shouts from the shore, "Give him all of our weapons!"
Swords, axes, whips, daggers, shields, clubs, and staffs are thrown into the sky. As one by one they are infused with Boa's lightning magic. Boa weaves them into violent tornadoes of spinning steel and electricity.
The weapon of tornados collides with the dragon causing a million yellow explosions merge into a colossal twister of destruction. The force finally disperses the elemental storm around them.
But suddenly the explosion-tornado bursts into fire as the Blaze Dragon rises again, raining a meteor shower of flaming fireballs across the sky.
Boa braces himself, but the whales rush to shield him. Dozens of them takes the brute force of the fire explosions.
Fireballs soar toward the village.
The people cry out in fear—until the Alpha Chimera of the ancient pack leaps forward. Its body glows in a golden-yellow aura as it roars, conjuring a wide barrier of light that blocks the fiery projectiles.
Prekayda gasps. "Of course… he placed more of his magic into the animal packs."
One by one, the animals across the field begin to glow brighter. They move into formation, their combined energy forming layers upon layers of radiant barriers.
Above them, the golden griffin glows and takes flight. It rockets through the layers of barriers and dives into the heart of battle.
Below the waves, Melon lets out a cry and unleashes dozens of powerful water blasts. The dragon recoils as the streams strike its body. The whales join in, firing hundreds more from all directions.
High above, Boa now rides the back of the glowing griffin. Together, they soar over the wounded dragon. Boa raises his hand—lightning channels into it—and with a fierce cry, he slams a powerful bolt straight into the dragon's head.
The result is a massive explosion—water and lightning bursting upward in a shockwave that lights up the sea.
Meanwhile, in the Ruined lands, the Bio Dragon unleashes chaos. It rampages through the land, tearing through Stars with devastating attacks—earth-shattering terrain shifts, deadly flower energy beams, wooden spike traps, poisonous clouds, and razor-sharp magical leaves that slice through anything in their path.
Suddenly, a glowing green arrow whistles through the air and pierces the dragon's side, sending it crashing through towering dirt pillars.
Kayle hovers in the sky, her magical bow in hand.
"You all stand no chance alone!" she shouts. "Let me give you an opening—then we strike together!"
Her team gathers behind her, weapons drawn. Across the scorched battlefield, wounded Stars and Vel look up and nod, determination rising in their eyes.
Tomi's eyes narrow as he senses a vibration beneath his feet.
"Everyone move!" he yells. "It's attacking from underground!"
In a flash, everyone leaps out of the way as a forest of wooden spikes erupts from the dirt below. Flowers bloom along each spike, glowing ominously as they charge energy.
"Take cover!" Tomi shouts again.
Explosions rock the battlefield. Some Stars dive behind jagged terrain, while others dig into the ground to shield themselves. Blasts of magic detonate across the landscape.
High above, Kayle remains airborne. She flies toward the Bio Dragon and unleashes a rapid volley—hundreds of green arrows light up the sky, pounding into the dragon's armor in a storm of emerald explosions.
But the dragon counters.
Massive pillars of dirt erupt upward, blocking her path and her view. Kayle dodges nimbly through the chaos, weaving between the rising towers of earth. Suddenly, thousands of enchanted rocks burst from the pillars and slam into her.
Kayle crashes hard into the ground.
Before she can recover, the earth beneath her splits open. Dirt walls rush in from every side, crushing her between them. The walls retreat—then slam shut again and again.
Each crushing blow shakes the battlefield.
Bloodied and gasping, Kayle growls in defiance. She raises her bow and fires repeatedly, holding the walls at bay. Arrows streak through the air, detonating against the encroaching earth. She dodges flying rocks and dirt pillars as they come at her from every direction, retaliating with explosive precision.
With a fierce cry, she channels wind magic through her legs. A jet of green air blasts from her boots, propelling her forward like a missile. She spins rapidly, drawing in magic from the air around her.
A massive green tornado forms around her body.
She drives it straight into the dragon.
The whirlwind roars, lifting the Bio Dragon high into the air. The sheer force rips away the creature's armor—dirt, rock, and wood fly in every direction, stripped from its body layer by layer.
And then—exposed.
The dragon's glowing magic core pulses in its chest.
Kayle draws back her a powerful arrow, breath steady despite her pain. Her eyes lock onto the target.
She lets it fly.
The arrow pierces the core. A blinding explosion consumes the tornado, ripping through the sky and halting the winds in an instant.
Both Kayle and the dragon plummet from the sky crashing into the ground.
Dust and debris settle.
Kayle lies on her back, chest rising and sits up. She looks toward the dragon, eyes fierce despite her exhaustion.
"Strike it now!" she shouts before collapsing, drained of mana.
The Bio Dragon slowly rises from the crater, its chest still glowing—but the color of its core has shifted from green to a radiant white.
Tomi, Vel, and the remaining Stars waste no time. They charge in from every direction, focusing their attacks on the exposed core.
Blades slash, magic blasts detonate, and arrows pierce the dragon's chest. Cracks begin to form across the glowing surface.
But just before the final blow can land, the core suddenly shifts color again—now glowing deep blue.
Tomi's eyes widen.
"It changed!" he yells. "Retreat! Everyone, fall back!"
Most of the Stars pull away, but Vel and a few others ignore his call.
"We can end this!" Vel shouts, lunging forward.
They continue to attack the core recklessly.
The dragon roars, its blue aura flaring outward. A sleek, liquid armor of rushing water forms around its body, coating it in a spiraling shield.
From the dragon's form, long water whips lash out at terrifying speed.
Stars are sliced into pieces mid-sprint. The battlefield becomes a blur of screams and splashes of blood.
One whip lashes across Vel's stomach. The slash is brutal—her midsection tears open as the force sends her flying across the field. She crashes violently into the dirt.
The dragon rears back and roars. Massive water pillars erupt from the ground, blasting upward like geysers. They open at the top and begin firing high-pressure water bullets in all directions—raining chaos across the ruined land.
Kayle lies nearby, barely able to lift her head. Her chest heaves with every breath. She watches the deadly water bullets tearing through the sky.
Tomi sprints toward her, dodging the deadly blasts by inches.
"Hang on!" he shouts, reaching down to pull her to safety.
Kayle coughs, gripping his shoulder as he lifts her up. All around them, the battlefield is flooding with magic and water.
Tomi carries Kayle through the chaos, sprinting across the war-torn landscape toward the shore.
They finally reach the coastline and come to a halt—only to be met with an overwhelming sight.
A massive tsunami looms over the horizon, surging toward the ruined lands like a wall of doom.
Tomi's eyes widen. "You've got to be kidding me…"
Kayle clenches her teeth, forcing herself upright. Her breaths are ragged, but the wind begins to stir around her. Her aura flickers with emerald light.
"I can stop this one…" she mutters.
She plants one foot forward and raises both arms. Wind magic roars from her palms—cyclones spiral into the sky as she releases a powerful gust that crashes against the oncoming tsunami.
The ocean wall trembles, parting slightly under the force of her magic.
But then—the ground quakes violently beneath them.
Tomi stumbles, catching Kayle as she nearly collapses. Both of them look around.
More tidal waves.
From every direction, multiple tsunami rise into view, encircling the entire Ruined lands. The skies darken as the endless waves build higher, threatening to consume everything.
Kayle drops to one knee, exhausted. Her voice is bitter.
"Shit," she breathes. "Of course this dragon has a phase two."
Just as the monstrous tsunamis are about to crash down on the ruined lands, a new force tears through the sky.
High above, the Storm Dragon dives through the clouds, its wings crackling with lightning. It collides with a flying towering figure, a massive dirt golem, equal in size to the dragon itself.
Their clashing impact shakes everything.
The golem surges with magic, its body hardening as its dirt armor transforms—glimmering and sharp—into solid diamond. With a mighty swing, it slams its fist into the Storm Dragon's chest.
The dragon is hurled from the sky, spiraling down and smashing into the ruined lands below.
Atop the golem's head, a lone figure stands.
King Nox.
He raises one hand, glowing with brown magic. With a surge of power, he fires thousands of diamond shards into the air—aiming them straight at the incoming tsunamis.
The shards explode on impact.
And then—silence.
The water stops mid-motion.
The tsunamis freeze in place, transformed into monumental sculptures of diamond, sparkling like artwork suspended in time. Massive and unmoving.
Gasps echo across the battlefield.
Down below, the Storm Dragon roars as it regains flight and soars back toward the golem. But the Bio Dragon, watching from the center of the chaos, bellows in rage and leaps into the air with a water cloud carrying it, joining forces with the Storm Dragon.
The sky darkens with their combined fury as both dragons rush toward the diamond-armored golem.
Kayle, still recovering, stares up at the figure on the golem's crown.
Her voice trembles with awe.
"King Nox... just who are you?! How are you so powerful?!"
Meanwhile, in the snowy village nestled in the northern mountains, Lars steps out of his chambers. The cold air greets him—but it's not silence he finds. Instead, the village is alive.
Villagers laugh and cheer as a vibrant festival takes place. Snow glitters under the soft lights strung from icy rooftops. Music floats through the air—joyful, defiant, beautiful.
Lars furrows his brow, confused by the sudden celebration. A graceful dancer twirls around him, her movements elegant and hypnotic, weaving between snowflakes like a spirit of winter.
Then Atheen approaches, her steps light, her presence warm.
"Weird, right?" she says, smiling softly. "Even on a doomed planet, these people still find reasons to celebrate. They tend to throw a festival after every victory of mine. Since I sealed the Power Dragon, I guess it counts."
She looks out over the dancing crowd, then back to him.
"They're making the most of whatever time they've got left. Maybe we should too. Tomorrow's never promised."
She extends her hand toward him.
Lars hesitates. A memory stirs.
He sees Dustin, his older brother, laughing in a training field.
"Take a break, Lars. Just once. You'll burn out if you keep going like this, let's go have some fun with Gaia."
Lars's feet freeze in place. The music, the joy, the offer—it all feels too familiar.
Before he can refuse, Atheen grabs his hand anyway.
"Come on, one dance won't kill you."
She spins him around, laughing, and then gently pushes him toward another dancer who seamlessly takes her place, swirling around him in rhythm with the music.
Lars stands in the middle, confused… unsure.
But then he sees their faces.
Smiles. Real ones.
Laughter, music, warmth—all in a land of frost and impending doom.
He hears the music, and just for a moment, he remembers Dustin's smile.
Then another memory strikes.
His father's voice, cold and commanding.
"Son, your emotions will only make you weak. Be strong. Don't let them influence you, or you'll end up like your brother."
The joy disappears.
Lars turns and walks away, the music fading behind him.
Atheen notices and follows, her steps quieter now.
She finds him sitting near the ice prison of the Power Dragon, its massive form still sealed beneath layers of enchanted frost. The wind howls softly through the cliffs.
Atheen sits beside him, wrapping her arms around her knees.
"Maybe you're not used to this kind of life," she says gently. "Where I come from, my people live with more open hearts."
She gazes at the dragon.
"But I get it. The Power Dragon's breaking free at sunrise. We need to be prepared. Still… always being on edge, it'll eventually make you forget who you really are."
Lars says nothing.
He simply stares at the Power Dragon's faint pulse glowing within the ice.
But her words echo in his mind, refusing to fade.
Lars finally speaks, his eyes still locked on the frozen form of the Power Dragon.
"I'd rather discuss battle plans."
Atheen exhales softly, a small chuckle escaping her lips as she leans back against the snow-covered rock.
"Fine, battle plans it is. We've got all night, anyway."
She pauses, then glances at him with a gentle smile.
"But after we win… you'll celebrate with us. Deal?"
Lars stays quiet.
The wind carries the distant music from the village below. He doesn't answer—just keeps watching the dragon sealed in ice, the flicker of its power pulsing like a silent heartbeat.
Atheen doesn't press him.
She simply sits beside him and begins discussing the battle plans.
