*at the carriage*
"Wouldn't it will be weird if young adults as me and Alia would have children? More over children that are almost at our age??" Asked Rick.
"I dont think it will be a problem" said Nick "after all you look old"
"What did you say?!" said Rick angrily and was about to punch Nick but then Alya said, "he is not wrong! Compere to the nobles even a peasant baby will look twenty years old"
"To be honest I am more afraid that Nick and I will not look young enough for them" I said.
"Screw them" said Nick while holding back Rick from punching him.
"To be honest i don't think it will be a problem" said Alya, "with our new clothes
We will look more royalty then ever(besides, we will have makeup on most of the time there)".
she Is not wrong, Chris and Amilia gave us brand new clothes that probably cost more then our town's duke's house. We weren't able to wear them now because of the fact that we would have fainted of heat by now. Every piece of dress, shirt, and even pants built with so many layers of cloth! Well, at least thay are not trying to freeze us to death...
"You are right" I said, "but right now we are with long as coats, its not really royal like you know?"
"You are right" said Alya "but with the coats nobody will be able to see our face(without the makeup)"
"And we have not been dying of heat until now" said Rick.
"We know!" I said Nick annoyed.
I hope she is right...
"We are here my lords" said the carriage driver.
Alia stepped out of the carriage first, "ho my lord" she said.
"It has to be a joke" said Rick.
"That is a bit much dont you think?" Said Nick.
It's huge!!! This mansion is to huge!!!
*at the mansion*
"Welcome home my lords" said and old fella while standing in front of a huge mansion in the middle of two rows full of maids and workers. That's has to be Alfred the butler.
Rick and Alia didn't said anything and just walked through the workers while me and Nick followed them behind behind them.
"My lords" said Alfred while walking behind us "i belive it will be best if we go to the study and talk there privately".
"Understood" said Alya and stood still at the front doors "Just... where is it exactly!?".
I picked behind her and saw a huge hall, it's just as big inside as the outside.
"Hay Alfred" said Nike, "isnt it to damn big?!"
"Not at all" said Alfred, "its actually pretty small in size compared to an actual duke's mansion"
"Well he isnt wrong" said Rick, "Compere to our duke's house its about half of it"
"And you know it how?!" Said Alya angerly.
"Amm.. you know... I have seen his mansion seens I was a kid so..." said Rike nervously.
"Rick is right, I have been at the duke's house so i know its much smaller" I said, "its just feel too much for us, you know"
"Yeh, I was sure it was a joke" said Rick, "like its smaller then a normal mansion but its still big, its just weired that we will show here from nowhere and claim this place to be ours".
"I believe the young masters already explained you everything" said Alfred.
He calls them "young masters"...
"Thay did but still" said Rick, "its just weired..."
"Come after me, we shouldn't talk about this here" said Alfred and walked us to a room.
"As you all know this place is an abandoned part of the kingdom, the young masters are in charge of this place" said Alfred.
"So wouldn't that be weird if we rule here, you know with the fact that we are not supposed to know them personally yet?" Asked Alya.
"Indeed my lady. you as the duchess of Mareliya and your husband, the duke, you are supposed to be familiar with the prince and the princess" said Alfred, "But the duke's father who passed away recently was the one that bought this place from his and her highnesses, and the current duke which is his heir just now got this land that was bought five years ago, because of your father's sudden death you should go and thank there highnesses your self bur because of complications at the palace you cannot go there" thay are delaying our meet! But why?
"The next time that you will be able to see them will be in four months"
"What?!" Shouted Nick, "You didn't said that it will take that long!! In four months His Highness and Li..."
"Alex!" I said aggressively, "we are at home, please consider your words and lower your voice. "
"If his highness and Violet will meet only in four months there engagement will take forever. " Nick said quietly
"The engagement will be pretty quick if the young lady and her house hold will be suitable for being the prince fiance." Said Alfred and looked at me.
In other words he is saying that I should try as hard as I can to become a real noble lady in four months and on top of that he is telling Rick and Alya that they should really try to make this place something special...
"and please as long as you are in your rules keep using your fake names, even if it looks like nobody is near" said Alfred directly towards Nick.
"Understood" said Alya and looked at Nick.
"Very well. Now, you all had a hard trip, you should go to sleep. By tomorrow the young masters will start there training and the lords will start learning how to rule this land." Said Alfred and walked out of the room.
"Rule?" Said Nike.
"Yeah" said Alya, "this room will be your study Ri...honey. We should start learning by reading about this place."
"That just gave chills" said Rick, "But you are right, we should start."
"What about us??" I asked
"You two should go to sleep, you will have training tomorrow so just have a good night sleep" said Rick while reading a book.
"But-"
"listen to Ri... your father" said Alya.
"We should go Violet..." said Nick.
"Ok" I said while walking out of the room.
