"Where am I? Why is it so dark? Have I... died?"
In the darkness, Li Chen's consciousness gradually woke up.
He found himself in a dark starry sky.
This was not the starry sky he stepped into when he crossed the Earth Level threshold earlier. Here, there was nothing but eternal darkness.
"Is this... the Star Sea?" Li Chen looked around confusedly in the Star Sea, but he couldn't find the bright points and stars like before. It seemed something had happened; there was no sign of the abiding existence from before.
Here, only a constant silence and endless darkness existed, akin to a cold cosmos.
"Has even my Star Sea dried up? Looks like I truly died." As if recalling something, Li Chen smiled bitterly in the Star Sea.
However, he hadn't noticed that his body was emanating a radiant glow like a rainbow.
He couldn't see himself, nor was he aware of his existence.
"Wait!" Suddenly, a doubt emerged in Li Chen's mind.
