Ning Fan froze for a moment when he heard that, not immediately recalling the prior incident.
But after a few seconds, Ning Fan finally remembered. After all, the incident hadn't happened too long ago; it occurred just recently.
But wasn't that matter already resolved?
"Weren't all of them arrested? Or is there still someone who slipped through the cracks?"
Ning Fan was puzzled. At the time, he had provided substantial evidence, and the entire group involved in the loans was caught and brought in. The media had even covered it extensively.
Yet here was Baby Hai bringing up the matter again, and something about this felt off. Unless something new had happened, Baby Hai would not have come to him so urgently.
"That's right. There's still a group at large, and our preliminary investigation suggests they might be planning to retaliate against you!"
Baby Hai said this with a serious tone.
