Brightness, being the best husband he could be, for basically a century… He noticed that something potentially serious had occurred. There's almost nothing that would keep her from spending time with our babies. Listing them out; Danger to the people and our family, Making more of her own babies… Which we haven't done since Undine's passing, and then something related to the hellish world she came from. There might be a few other things, like managing certain locations of Tus Nadair but, for the most part everything falls into those three categories. "Anastasi, I'm going to check on Sil. While I'm gone you should make sure to continue practicing."
"Oh my, dear brother, you don't have to worry about my practice. I won't rest until I've figured this out."
"Heh, don't over do it. Once you've compressed yourself to about half your current size, you'll experience a wall. It took both of my mates to get me past that painful wall the first time."
Calling out to her now leaving brother. "I can heal myself brother. I'll beat your record for learning this ability!"
Elsewhere in Tus Nadair, on a tall cliff, Night Silver stood, looking out to the horizon. Her eyes were filled with rage. The Idea that I can't fight them… For some reason it pisses me off far more now, than it had ever done so before. This… Damn bitch. She's worse for this world than that stupid mother-in-law of mine.
Brightness landed softly next to his mate, wrapping his arms around from behind, embracing her. "You don't have to tell me right now but, you should let me do at least this much for now."
"I'm glad I chose you. You know what to do and say whenever it's needed." Night Silver smiled, continuing to stare out into the distance.
The pair stood there like that for a while, watching the horizon as the sun began setting. This was when she finally managed to let out a heavy sigh. Slowly she turned her head back, turning to the side just enough to stare into Brightness' eyes. Brightness leaned in the rest of the way, kissing as the moonlight took over the sky, ushering in the night. The Silver light, lighting up the night… Her namesake.
"Whatever happened, must have been rather bad if you waited for this moment to talk."
"She… That damn leader of our enemy… She's one of the people that caused the devastation of my last world. Her rich family, using blood money to continue living a life of luxury while children died by the hour. She is at least indirectly responsible for the deaths of millions, if not directly responsible. And more than that, she's a large reason our world became so polluted that it died."
Brightness watched his mate's expression as he listened to her. This new enemy they faced, was part of the reason why she had created the life she has now, the whole drive to ensure not a single frown could be seen on a child's face, even if it meant suffering on her own. The inner turmoil present was now reflected upon the surface of her face, and the shaking of her body. "You want to kill them yourself, don't you?" He held her gently yet firmly.
"Words can not describe how much I want to… But, I also made a deal with our allies. And I-"
"You can't go back on that for many reasons."
"Exactly right… If only that bitch had said something sooner. I would have exacted hell upon them… Now, I can only sit and watch, waiting for them to break the arrangement we just made." She sniffed, and then explained the limitations she took."
Brightness chuckled for a second before collecting himself. "If the eight greed kings are anything like their personality suggests, then you might get your wish to slaughter them." He smiled.
"You're probably right about that… It all depends on if they break the rule that they'd fight solo."
"If that vile woman thinks what I think she might, this moment of restraint will only bring about a great cathartic release once you run your hand through her twisted and evil heart."

The guild leader, still partially stunned by the sense of foreboding she just went through, let out a sigh and stumbled up to the wall. Placing her back firmly against it, and slid down to the floor as her legs gave out from under her.
She's terrifying. But at least we were able to come to a deal of some kind. Though, I doubt we'd be able to handle a drawn out battle against the dragons. We're strong but not immortal, and regaining experience here isn't easy by any means. Someone walked over and crouched down in front of the guild leader, his longer ears still flushed from before. "What? Do you want to eat more?"
"What did she say?"
She froze, realizing the rest of the guild members were also there. "She agreed not to fight, provided we follow a few rules. And from the sound of it, we're going to be fighting a gauntlet of one on one fights against the dragons. However, if they decide to flee from us they can seek her aid in healing their wounds. We are also not to tread upon her family, her people, or her land."
"What about her, in particular?"
"Heh, you must really have a death wish, thinking something like that, let alone speaking it into the air." She laughed, and then got serious. "Now, something very important. All seven of you should go and find women among the people below. Sire offspring of the gods within them… We'll need them to live here in this world to support the people if the ages grow more turbulent."
The other seven guild members shrugged but, at the end of a rather flattering discussion… They all agreed and left their leader where she was. She wanted to have some time looking up at the sky. This is what she is so upset about? Not being able to see this? Laughable, my family never killed anybody… No, that's a lie… I actually made it more likely, and all so I could have more in game items. I don't deserve this new life do I? She pondered for a moment before standing up quickly. Who cares, I'm going to do my best to enjoy it. I'm here because I have the ability. I'm going to have all the fun I can in this place, the result be damned.
