Unlike Ji Shuqin's delicate features, Cai Shuxue was taller, combining all the best traits of his big uncle Ji Lin and aunt Cai Jianhong. He was tall and handsome, and though he was about the same age as Xu Nian'an, he seemed more mature.
"Shuxue, these are your cousin Nian'an and Nianhua from your aunt's family. Nian'an is also twenty-two, just two months older than you," Cai Jianhong introduced.
"Brother Nian'an, Nianhua," Cai Shuxue said with a tight-lipped smile, greeting them before he went to the kitchen to help get the bowls and chopsticks.
Lunch went very smoothly. Ji Lin's family intentionally tried to foster closeness, and since they were met with smiles, Xu Nian'an and Xu Nianhua wouldn't let anyone encounter a cold shoulder.
"Nian'an, the radios you've brought in, are you able to sell them?" Ji Lin asked about the radios after having finished eating.
