Abigail's attacker quickly recomposed herself and took the offensive. She did not wish to give an archer like her opponent any opportunity by creating distance.
'Fuck, that was too close!'
Abigail inwardly exclaimed, her expression reflecting the shock and fear she momentarily felt when the blade was so close to eliminating her. She readjusted her stance to shoot but noticed her attacker was already closing in.
'Don't want to give me an opening, is that it?!'
If her opponent thought she was merely an archer, then she was in for a surprise. She swiftly wore her bow and retrieved a dagger attached to her waist, and dashed forward as well.
Abigail was not about to stand there and let her opponent's momentum dictate the fight. However, she did feel something strange when she was five metres away from her opponent.
