While stroking the heads of my twin sisters who were still slept soundly, I tried to wake them up with a gentle voice.
"Alyssa... it's already late. Do you still want to sleep longer? You'll have trouble sleeping at night," I said while stroking Alyssa's hair which felt rough.

"Uuuhh... five more minutes," Alyssa grumbled in her sleep.
I tried holding back my laughter when my twin sisters were cute like this.
"Are you sure you want to sleep for another five minutes?" I teased with a halting caress.
"What about you, Alice? Do you want to sleep for five minutes too?" I asked Alice who was starting to open her eyes and was seen rubbing her hands on her still-sleepy eyelids.
"I-I want more time," Alice replied, as if she wanted to fall back into deep sleep.
I stopped stroking her hair and gave another tease that would wake up my twin sisters.
