A sharp voice rang out from above as Tsunade descended from the sky. She had rushed over as fast as she could, and upon seeing Kagetsu, Han, and the bizarre scene before her, she was momentarily stunned.
"These…?"
Tsunade's gaze locked onto the creatures before her—each the size of a deer, with white tails and radiating immense chakra. Shock filled her expression.
"Five-Tails."
Shadows spread from beneath Kagetsu's feet like tree branches, reaching toward the fragmented forms of the Five-Tails. He responded to Tsunade's question.
"Five-Tails?"
Even though she had already guessed, hearing Kagetsu confirm it still shocked Tsunade.
A Tailed Beast could be divided like this?
The split versions of the Five-Tails lacked the intelligence of a true Tailed Beast. They stood there in a daze, not knowing where to go or what to do. Most of them didn't even resist Kagetsu's shadow control.
Only a few showed signs of panic and struggled, but with Kagetsu's added force, black lines wrapped around them, binding them to the ground.
"The Five-Tails was healing its body. To prevent trouble, I had to strip it of its reliance first."
Kagetsu planted the wooden sword in the ground.
Under Tsunade's stunned gaze, a tender sprout emerged from the charred earth beside the wooden sword. It rapidly grew thicker and taller at a visible speed. When it reached about the height of a person, a fruit formed at its peak.
"Wood Release?"
Tsunade was momentarily dazed at the sight. She knew Orochimaru and Kagetsu had recreated Wood Release, but she hadn't known Kagetsu could use it too.
"No, I don't use Wood Release."
Kagetsu shook his head, denying it.
"Then what is this?"
Tsunade pointed at the plant, which, after bearing fruit, quickly withered like an aging person, its body curling inwards. It dried up, collapsed, and dissolved into the ground.
Before it completely withered, Kagetsu plucked the fruit and held it in his palm.
"This is my Hōgyoku Mode."
Kagetsu tossed the plump fruit in his hand, which looked as full as a peach, then held it out in front of Tsunade and asked, "Do you want it, Tsunade-san?"
"What kind of fruit is this? I mean, what does it do?" Tsunade took the fruit and immediately noticed that it was different from a real fruit.
Although its texture felt solid, the sensation it gave her was more like something created through chakra materialization.
Most importantly, she could feel warmth coming from the fruit!
"Boil Release," Kagetsu stated bluntly.
"Boil Release?" Tsunade repeated, not understanding at first. Then, as if realizing something, she gripped the fruit tightly, slightly deforming it before quickly loosening her hold.
"Boil Release?"
The same words, but with a different tone, gave off an entirely different meaning.
Tsunade worried that she had damaged the fruit with her grip, but surprisingly, it was elastic enough to withstand and disperse her strength.
"Yes. If you eat it, you will awaken Boil Release," Kagetsu replied directly, then added, "Of course, the strength you gain after eating it, and when you fully master and awaken Boil Release, depends on your talent and physique.
"Simply put, a ninja with both water and fire chakra natures, who has trained their nature transformation and shape transformation to a certain level, has a high chance of awakening it immediately.
"A ninja without water and fire attributes, or missing one of them, will need to train and develop both chakra natures first before they can try to awaken it.
"You can think of it like awakening a Kekkei Genkai. Just like how the Uchiha awaken their Sharingan—if certain conditions are met and the timing is right, Boil Release can be awakened."
"Do you even realize what you're saying?"
Tsunade was speechless at the regret and dissatisfaction in Kagetsu's tone.
Being able to extract someone's Kekkei Genkai and transfer it into another ninja in the form of a fruit was unbelievable no matter how she looked at it.
It reminded her of a certain ninja she used to have a good relationship with back when the Sannin were closer.

"What does that old man have to do with me? I'm just here as a mascot." Tsunade waved her hand impatiently. "As for Shizune, she has her own path to walk. If you think she needs it, ask her yourself later."
"Also, what do you plan to do with these Five-Tails?"
Tsunade looked at the dozens, maybe even hundreds, of small Five-Tails with a headache.
Tailed Beasts and Jinchūriki were a major problem—one wrong move could drive an entire ninja village insane.
