The first thing to come to my attention was how lizard like it was, a lizard face with scales reaching down its mutated body. Its gangly limbs were full of growths and mutations, elongated arms, swelled fingers and claws and the like. Its torso was also elongated and full of veiny looks and mutated limbs and such, and a long tongue that was out of its ugly mug as it looked at me.
"Welllllll, some fresh meat" it spoke with a particular inflection. Its voice was gravily and it felt grating on my ears. "I'm sorry, but this body ain't for eating you ugly mug" I said dismissively and I could feel a tick mark grow on its head as it growled. "Youuuu are talkative it seems. Unnnneeded for food like yourself" it spoke as a circle of magic formed at his mouth and a wave of fire greeted me as I hastily conjured a shield.
'Okay, shouldn't have made it angry' I thought as I gathered magical power in my hands and lobbed it at the beast, a blunt attack hitting its gangly figure. It did barely enough damage, the spell having been somewhat dispersed on impact. "You didn't think I wasn't gonna fight without magic protection?" it spoke in a clear voice this time.
"Well shit" I cursed as acid was flying my way as I dodged. The area I was standing in became melted sludge. 'Well, Im more of a magic guy, so what to do?' I was thinking as an idea occured to me. The throne of heroes, it was full of many heroes from all over the multiverse, inscribed into its very core.
I shifted through some of them and found one that seemed particularly ironic considering my name. Adam, the father of humanity from a universe where human participants fight against the gods for their continued survival. I selected him for instillation and a light enveloped my form as the devil seemed repulsed and even hurt by it.
Flashes of memories, techniques, and powers flowed through my mind in a deluge of information that was almost overwhelming. From the betrayal of the gods to his death at the hands of Zeus himself. His memories flowed in me, filling in each and every crevice of my body with his power, reflexes, and his powers sublimated as noble phantasms of great power if used right.
The devil was recoiling away from me, my body exuding a holy aura. Adam was the first man made by God, its only natural that his entire existence was infused with Gods divine blessing. I smiled at the recoiling demon as I lunged at him, unnaturally fast.
My fist was cocked back and as the demon was reorentating himself, I struck forward with a piercing blow which knocked the demon back into the wall. On my fist was a pair of metal knuckles, forged from the Valkyrie Reginleifs body for Adam to fight against the father of the cosmos, Zeus.
It was quite a weird title for thunder britches himself, but considering his history, it fits to a degree.
"You vile vermin! You insect!" the devil screamed as its magic flowed in an erratic manner, welling up in its hands as magic formulas began to manifest. The formulas began to spew forth a torrent of flames and acid all at once, causing the warehouse to be done for in everything but name.
The concrete was melting, the metal becoming sludge, and the sizzling sounds of everything becoming unuseable material was quite pervasive in the surroundings. It seems the devil lost its composure, the little it had.
"I think its time to end this little farce" I murmured, as only more damage was gonna be done if the devil was kept alive. I pulled on the knowledge and abilities which Adam has given me. One singular moment stood out to me as a form of attack. The first which has surpassed time, defying the very laws of reality to make it strike Zeus in his face as he utilized the powers he obtained from killing Kronos.
Not the most powerful attack he had, but it was enough, powerful enough to see the depths of his power. I cocked my fist back as I dashed towards the devil, and before he could unleash his attack, I activated Adams noble phantasm.
Time transcending fist: The fist which transcends time. I activated the noble phantasm and as my fist made contact with the devils flesh, all that appeared was a powerful burst of air and the bloody remains of his flesh, red mist which exists in the air and flying forward on the gust of wind.
My fist was still forward, a slight amount of blood staining the knuckles, as the wall of the warehouse was knocked down, revealing a shocked Sona Shitori before me, her expression telling all I had to know.
"What was that?!" she screamed as the dust was settling ontop of her. it was quite, dirty, to say the least, and it was quite comedic so bonus there and such. "Well, that was me driving the devil into a bloody mist with my fist" I explained calmly. "No way!" she shouted indignantly and I was starting to get annoyed.
"Well believe what you want, I completed the job like you asked" I countered as she clammed up and realized. "Right" she murmured. "Better yet, why are you here?" I asked her with an eyebrow raised. "Well, I wanted to make sure the task was completed, and you hopefully didn't melt into a puddle" she spoke with a slight stutter.
"Okay, so does that mean our deal is complete?" I enquired as she straightened herself up, fixed her glasses, and made herself look professional again. "Pretty much, besides maybe one more devil if needed. I also found you a job as a PE teacher" she muttered as she disappeared in what looked like a huff.
"She seems high strung. Maybe she needs some shrooms" I muttered as I took a step forward and entered my private home, a realm away from prying eyes of the heavens and the underworld.
Medea was seemingly in a world of her own as she didn't even acknowledge me as I appeared. I immediately went to the bathroom and began a hot shower for me to get rid of the nastiness. After I stepped out, I slipped on some silk pajamas as I walked out to the lake nearby.
"Man, this is real comfortable" I muttered as I bathed my feet in the cool waters. The sky was turning to night, and the moon appeared above, which seemed odd to me in a separate space, but magic doesn't like to follow logic most of the time so I'm used to it.
As I layed there, I was wondering what my new job would look like. Granted, PE teacher is easy to imagine but I wasn't familiar too much with Japanese education so I was a little curious at what I had to do. 'Might just do basic exercises or something' I thought as I laid down on the grass, and admired the night sky above, seemingly content with my new life before me.
