My name is Alex Bowman And it's been 2 weeks since I was joined this workshop
During this time I've learned how to produce magic boxes and made a lot of Axetank blocks And now I'm finally going to start my first Golem
'Now then can you tell me the basics of what we're actually going to be doing Today' Rargum
Rargum Said well standing In front of a vaguely human shaped block of earth With Alex standing in front of him
'Yes we are crafting Golems?' Alex
Rargum Rubs his eyes and annoyance and as soon as he's done that he glares at Alex
'How exactly are we going to be doing that' Rargum
He said with an exasperated tone like he's giving up all hope
'Magic circles' Alex
Alex Shrugs in makes a Vaguely circular shape with his hands
'I mean I have been studying how to make them' Alex
'Good so you do know the magic circle' Rargum
'My thoughts aside Yes I know the magic circle' Alex
'What exactly are you referring to your thoughts aside' Rargum
'Well when you really think about it doesn't really make any sense' Alex
Gestures at the golem base mainly at its arms and legs
'You have to use earth magic to even move this thing And that cannot be efficient' Alex
'No it is not efficient it will never be efficient golems aren't efficient' Rargum
Rargum Said well gesturing wildly mainly at the Golem base and Alex
'That is the reason why no one uses them outside of training' Rargum
'Okay okay calm down' Alex
He said with a calming motion with his hands
'Can we please just get this started' Rargum
Rargum I said with an exasperated sigh
It took another 2 hours for For Alex to complete his first golem Alex was extremely excited by this Because it felt like the first time he built a robot and he's built a lot of robots, drones And other mechanical devices So this is fairly familiar to him Except for the fact that this is surprisingly basic it essentially only has a single piece to the whole thing and no real moving parts
'Well that actually turned out pretty well' Rargum
said Rargum As he stood up from the chair that he was on for the past half an hour Looking at the same hunk of Rock As before except for now there's an intricate circle drawn on his chest no other notable things other than that
'Well that was tedious I cannot imagine this thing's going to be efficient at all' Alex
'As I keep saying Golems are useless they're for training' Rargum
'As I keep saying if they weren't so Mana heavy they would be more useful' Alex
'Can you please stop' Rargum
This conversation has been going on in circles for about an hour now
'Okay can we just test it for now see if it works' Alex
'Yeah we were known for about 10 minutes now' Rargum
'Yeah but I just got to double check everything first' Alex
'I get it but can we just Activated already' Rargum
As he said that Alex put his hand on the magic circle on the chest of the newly crafted Golem and it begins to pour his mana into it as you continue to pour his mana into it he can feel a connection to the circle and the Golem when he took his hand off he could feel the mana quickly draining from his body
'This thing's efficiency is terrible' Alex
As The Golem moves around the the workshop carefully Alex begins to sweat more and more as time goes on each movement it makes drains his magic power considerably he can see why everyone thinks that Golems are useless they're simple inefficient and cheap however alex is well aware of the True potential of this magic With a large smile on his face The world goes dark
As he begins to awaken with a throbbing headache and exhausted however he does not recognize the ceiling as he looks around he does not recognize the room he does not know where he is
'Where the hell am I' Alex
And just as he says that a large But short man Walks into the room and places down several bottles of stuff on the table beside him there were three bottles in total one of them was a light blue the other was clear almost like water and the last one was red the The same colors blood
'Hello Rargum How was last night' Alex
'Why are you asking me that' Rargum
Rargum Said With a grimace And a disgusted look on his face
'I have no issue with gay people but I would never have sex with you' Rargum
'Wow rude understandable but still rude' Alex
'Anyways you passed out from mana abuse And I had to carry your sorry ass here' Rargum
'Thanks for that by the way I know I act like An ass sometimes but' Alex
Rargum Looked at him like he's just Just like how you would look at a terminally ill patient concern worry and pity as he grabbed the bottle closest to him forced open Alex's mouth and begin to pour down his throat by force almost drowning the poor man In the blood colored potion
'That was super weird to think manner abuse can do that to someone' Rargum
As he said that he grabs the next bottle the almost clear one uncorks it and is waiting for the last of the first potion to go down his throat As soon as the first potion is empty he immediately shows the next potion bottle into his mouth And this happened for a third time once all the potions were Gone alex could finally say something and is probably going to be something stupid
'You know now that I've finally finished my first I think I could probably make them better golems I mean' Alex
'Oh and how would you supposed to do that' Rargum
'Why are you interested in this' Alex
'I'm a Craftsman' Rargum
'Good point yeah so the way that it works currently' Alex
He stops and puts his hand on his chin thinking about something As he begins to quickly stand up and Out of the room to another room this room has a chalkboard and chalk
'Okay so this is how it works' Alex
He draws a rough model of the Golem with a circle inside of it
'So the magic circle uses earth magic to change the shape of the body' Alex
'Yes that's entirely correct' Rargum
'This is the main reason why it is so mana expensive' Alex
As he begins to draw lines throughout the model on the board first on arms Then it's legs then it's knees it's elbows his head and begins to draw circles on each side of these lines
'This is the basic idea we have one main control circle and multiple other circles doing each individual action' Alex
'That's actually pretty clever so how How is this more efficient You just increasing the amount of metric circles' Rargum
Alice I was a feeling that this is going to take a while
