Parsons, a battle-hardened veteran, was supposed to be the main force. He held a rifle and wore a bullet-proof vest. He had the strongest firepower and the best protection, yet when the real fight began, he seemed to be frozen, stuck motionless behind the bakery door.
Of course, his immobility lasted less than two seconds. Even if Parsons were daydreaming, it would never last too long.
Yuri was behind Parsons. Normally, Parsons should have charged out, followed closely by Yuri.
But Parsons' momentary daze caused a brief gap in their supposed two-pronged tactic.
Yuri suddenly shoved Parsons from behind, pushing him out.
Pushed into action, Parsons snapped out of his stupor, raised his gun, and charged out the door.
What was the plan again?
First, throw a hand grenade, then go up the display shelf, then jump to the car roof. All of that had been done. Next, it was time to counterattack outside, right?
