Fujiwara Makoto hadn't made up her mind when Lin Yan picked her up and walked to the edge of the platform. There were some daily necessities brought in from outside in the apartment, and an elderly man popped his head out of a second-floor window.

Li Xianping withdrew from the window, and soon after, the sound of him descending the stairs thudded down, as he emerged with a small red medical kit in hand.
This space lacked the concept of time passing, which meant that people didn't need to eat and there were no physical depletions. An old man like Li Xianping wouldn't feel tired going up and down the stairs, though he moved a bit slowly.
Fujiwara leaned against a stone, looking at the white entity before her. The massive creature was curiously watching her.
