"Ah...!"
A painful scream had just risen only to be drowned amidst the roars of countless beasts. A gray-clothed martial artist fought fiercely to kill a Devouring Wolf, but before he could catch a breath, the claws of another wolf pierced through him. His companions couldn't even attempt a rescue, and the severely wounded warrior was dragged into the pack of Devouring Wolves and quickly torn to pieces.
The scene was witnessed by two nearby squads. By this point, they had no anger left to vent, only a faint fear and unease in their eyes. This pack of Devouring Wolves showed no fear of death; even at the cost of their lives, they were determined to leave wounds on the martial artists. Such a reckless battle strategy sent shivers down the spines of the gray-clothed warriors, murderous as they were.
"Quick, go support them, maintain the formation no matter what," a middle-aged bald man in the center of the camp ordered calmly.
