I had been avoiding Dove.
I know, I know, don't burn me on the stake just yet. I had a good reason for avoiding him. Mostly work. Pa had a great idea of getting a company from the other side of the world to supply us with new boot materials.
It was a terrible idea. Apparently he and Pai went somewhere remote on a holiday and he met some local wise man who told him of a great opportunity. Pa being Pa thought it would be great if he helped the community out but then found out, well, there was no community to begin with.
Frankly it was all a scam. It wouldn't have meant anything if Pa hasn't gone ahead and cancelled our material supplier in Japan! I was about to faint. B&B almost came to a complete standstill over night and as usual I had to fix that mess.
After that Pa didn't really feel like it was that bad and well Pai was far too scared to voice his opinion so he just kept quiet most of the time. I had to be the adult and tell Pa no which ended up in me getting grounded.
