(Third Person POV)
Alyssa let out a gasp, "Oh!" She said, "She has mismatched eyes! Just like me!"
Maegelle smiled as they stood over the cradle where Vaella laid, looking up at her mother and aunts, "Yes." She said, "Isn't that nice?"
Alyssa bent over, "She's so beautiful...." She said with a smile, "A purple eye and a red one...that is amazing, Maegelle..."
Viserra was looking at the babe, "Vaella, hm?" She said, "So you finally have a child, sister."
"Yes, I do." Maegelle looked at her, "What do you think?"
Viserra shrugged, "She looks like you." She said, "From what I can tell, the only thing she has from Drakken is the red eye."
"Hmph." Saera said from where she sat, using her fan on herself, "My son will have both his eyes."
"This is not a competition, Saera." Alyssa straightened up and looked at her, "Can't you be happy for your sister?"
Saera looked away, "Who says I am not?"
Viserra smiled slightly, "You just want to please that man the most, don't you?" She said, "You're so eager for him to love you more than Maegelle."
Saera scowled, "Watch it sister..." She said
Alysanne walked over from the table, holding some cups with wine, "Alright, my daughters...." She said, "Let us not argue. The girl is as beautiful as her mother, that is what matters. And she is healthy, I think that is the most important thing."
"Like if someone like Drakken would let his child be sickly and frail." Alyssa said, "From the way his sons look like, they've been well nourished."
"That is an understatement." Maegelle said with a slight smile, "Lord Riktor and Lord Sylas are well taken care of. Hey.....Mother, where is Daella?"
She was looking around the chambers, finding that her sister Daella was not present.
"She's with Aemon." Alysanne gave her a cup of wine, "They've just returned from Dragonstone. They are going to depart back in a few days. The only reason they are here was because I asked nicely for them to come. You must understand, my daughter.....Aemon's feelings on the matter..."
"I bet..." Saera muttered, "But he seems to be lovey dovey with Daella now."
"She is his wife." Alysanne told her
"I took him for a loyal one." Saera said as she covered her mouth with the fan, "Even if Jocelyn is long dead...."
Viserra blinked, "That is cruel, sister."
"We should not bring that up." Alyssa said, "Today is a good day, our sister is here with her daughter. Bringing such pain back up will only ruin it."
"Agreed." Alysanne said
Maegelle looked at Saera, picking up something that her sister said, but could not fully figure out what she meant by that.
"Say." Viserra said, "Are you close with that woman, Maegelle? The mother of Drakken's eldest son?"
Maegelle then looked at her, "Lady Mya?" She asked, "Of course, I am. She has been at my side from the beginning. I helped raise Lord Riktor while she was busy. We are very close, she is like my older sister."
"Is that so?" Alyssa smiled, "You should have her come over, I would like to speak to her."
"Would that be right?" Alysanne said with a frown, "That woman is the enem-"
"You said we should have peace, Mother." Alyssa cut her off, "I say we let her come spend time with us. In a way, she is important to Vaella."
Maegelle nodded, "Yes, she is." She said, "I would like it if she were here."
Alysanne sighed, "Very well." She said,
"Bring her over."
**********************
Mya was crouching down in front of Sylas, adjusting his shirt with a smile on her face, "Now now, My Little Lord." She said, "Don't keep that face up this long."
Sylas had a serious frown on his face, "I want to go home." He said, "I hate it here."
Mya patted his cheek, "Soon."
"I want to go now." Sylas said
"You and your Father both." Mya said
"His word is absolute." Sylas looked down, "We should not bother with this."
"Father loves Mama Maegelle." Riktor said as he stood next to him, "He's going to do as she wishes sometimes."
"Foolish...." Sylas said
"Now now...." Mya said, "Let us not start..."
She straightened up and saw that a handmaiden was approaching them.
"L-Lady Mya of House Drakkengard?" the woman asked nervously
"Yes." Mya said as she stood next to Sylas and Riktor, "That is I."
"T-The Queen and the Princesses request your presence." the woman said, "Please, come with me."
"I am with my sons." Mya said, "Can it not wait?"
"I...." The Handmaiden said
"Go on, Mother." Riktor said, his arms crossed, "We'll be fine."
Mya looked behind them, seeing that two Duskguard Knights stood silently a couple of feet away.
"Hm..." She said, "Very well....Riktor, look out for your brother."
Riktor nodded, "Yes."
"Don't cause trouble." Mya said as she began to walk away, "My loves, I'll be back."
Riktor watched as his mother followed the maiden, "Hm." He said, "Where's Father?"
"Beats me...." Sylas said
One of the Knights stepped forward, "My Lord." He said, "Would you like us to escort you two to your chambers? Your Father told us that if you want to see him, you should be taken there."
Riktor nodded, "Sure."
He gestured to the side, "Let us go then."
Riktor nudged Sylas in the side, "Come."
As the Knights led Riktor away, Sylas followed, looking around to see the walls and ceiling of the Keep's inside.
After a few minutes of walking, the Knights made a turn and ran into two girls being escorted by guards. The moment the Knights saw this, they stopped and placed their hands on their swords, staring right at the guards.
The guards stopped as well, placing their hands in front of the girls, "Princesses..." one of them said, "Wait..."
Rhaenys Targaryen frowned, "What is it?" She said as she looked at the Duskguard Knights, "Who are they?"
"That is my question too." Riktor whispered to a Knight, "Who are they? Why are they so pretty?"
"My Lord." one of the Knights said, "I believe those are Prince Aemon's daughters, Rhaenys and Rhaella."
"Oh." Riktor said as he looked at them
Rhaenys narrowed her eyes, "Red eyes...black hair...." She said, "He looks like that man....."
Riktor cleared his throat and walked forward, "Hello." He said as he stood in front of the guards, prompting them to step forward in defense, "I am Lord Riktor of House Drakkengard. You must be a Targaryen Princess."
Rhaenys nodded, "I am Princess Rhaenys."
The guard looked at him, "Step aside, we are escorting the princesses back to their father."
"I am afraid you have no authority to order Our Young Lords." the Duskguard Knight said, "Should he not want to step aside, he will not."
Riktor raised his arm, "It is fine, Ser." He said, "I only wish to speak to the Princess. You, what is your name?"
He pointed at the guard.
"C-Corren..." the Guard said
"Corren, if you're wise...." Riktor said, "You would step back a few inches, I mean no harm to the Princesses."
"Hm...." the Guard said
"It is fine." Rhaenys said, "It appears he is no danger."
"But Princess, he is the son of Drakken." the guard said
"Oh, don't worry about my Father." Riktor placed his hands behind his back, "It is I who you should worry about. But at this moment, I simply want to take in the beauty of two Princesses. Is that so bad?"
Rhaenys raised an eyebrow, "Oh?" She said, "Are you trying to sweet-talk me?"
Riktor smiled slightly, "Perhaps."
"I am already promised." Rhaenys said, "I am afraid you will have to look for someone else to charm, Lord Riktor."
Riktor looked at Rhaella, who was quiet, "Is your sister also promised?" He said with a slight smile, "She is as beautiful as you, Princess."
"She is." Rhaenys held Rhaella's hand, "I am afraid that we both are, I apologize."
Riktor chuckled and stepped back, raising his hands slightly in the air, "Fair enough." He said, "Well, it was a pleasure to meet you both. I trust that our time here will not provide an encumbrance."
"What is going on?" a voice said
Riktor and Sylas both looked to the side, seeing that Prince Aemon was walking up to them.
"Father." Rhaenys said as Aemon reached them
Aemon looked at Riktor, "You're....." He said as he looked at Sylas, "I see.....Lord Riktor, it appears you've met my daughters."
"You're Prince Aemon, I take it." Riktor said, "Yes, I just met your beautiful daughters. But if you excuse us, my brother and I will take our leave."
"Thank you for your hospitality."
