Chapter 27 - Chapter 27: Tri-Armed Triathalon

"Last time on Total Drama Island..." Chris began the recap while twirling around a pair of handcuffs on his finger. "Our seven remaining campers learned what balance was all about while getting sniped and stung by jellyfish. We also found out that Dawn has plans for Lincoln's unmentionables, who knew animal whispering hippie was the most perverted one on the island, hehe. In the end Gwen won invincibility and one sick ride, while also convincing Leshawna that Duncan would have been a better voting target then Heather. Probably would have worked as well if it weren't for Duncan overhearing their entire plan, way to go girls. In the end Duncan convinced both Heather and Owen to vote off Leshawna off the island and lowering the sass population. Will both Duncan and Heather avoid the boat of losers again? Will Lincoln's groin be at Chef's mercy yet again? And who will be voted off this week in the most dramatic campfire ceremony yet? Find out tonight...on Total. Drama. Island!"

"MmmmHmmmMmmm~" Lincoln happily hummed as he painted on the canvas in front of him. It was around 9 AM at the camp and so far Chris hadn't called them in for a challenge yet. Deciding to pass the time until the evitable torture started, Lincoln decided to grab some art supplies from the arts and crafts center and paint something. And based on his red cheeks it was more then likely whatever he was painting had to do with a certain aura reading girlfriend of his. "Just need a little bit more shade here…"

Peaking past the painting and towards the girls' cabin, Lincoln saw Dawn meditating and took in a few of her details before going back to the painting. He needed to make sure it was perfect when he showed her. But when he peaked past again to look at her once more, he gasped when he saw that Dawn suddenly appeared right in front of the painting and was smiling up at him. "Hi there Lincoln." She said in an overly cute tone she knew would get Lincoln blushing even more. "What are you doing?"

"U-Uh, nothing!" Lincoln was quickly to place himself right in front of the painting. He wanted to try and surprise Dawn with this but by the look in the aura readers eyes it seems she had different plans. While it was almost done, he did want to wait till it was complete until he showed her. "J-Just go back to meditating! Nothing to see here!"

Dawn giggled a bit at Lincoln's cute nervousness and decided to up the pressure by giving him half-lidded eyes. "Are you sure~" She kept up that cute high-pitched voice as she placed one of her hands on top of one of his. "If it's nothing then you wouldn't mind me taking a peek would you~?"

'Darn this beautiful woman!' Just something about her words and touch that just turned him into puddy in the nature lovers' hands. He couldn't even hope to resist her as she slowly slide his hand off the canvas in a way to uncover it so she could see what he was hiding. "W-W-Well…" He couldn't even hope to form words either. It was like he was being mind-controlled…and he liked it.

"Good!" With Lincoln fully at her control, the nature lover pulled him away from the canvas and turned the painting towards her to she could see it. What she saw left her absolutely speechless. "Oh my goodness, Lincoln…" The painting was truly spectacular. It presented Dawn herself laying down in a gorgeous area with green plants all around her as well as all different sorts of animals from a tiger seen in the background to a butterfly perched right on Dawn's head, looking almost like a hair piece. As for Dawn herself, a beam of sunlight was shining down on her and making her pop out from everything else in the painting and her cloths were all gone, only leaves covering her chest and crotch. "This is so beautiful…"

"Hehe, thanks…" Lincoln blushed even more as he scratched the back of his head. He was glad that Dawn liked the painting though, even if it wasn't complete by his standards. "Just wanted to be able to highlight all your beauty in some way."

"Well you did a very fantastic job." Dawn complimented her boyfriend before placing a loving kiss right on Lincoln's cheek. She really did have the best boyfriend in the world, bare none. She just felt complete with Lincoln, like their aura's have been merged together into one. While she may have come onto this show to try and win the prize money to help mother nature, she would still come home a winner even if she didn't win the competition. "You know the way you painted me, makes me almost like Eve in the Garden of Eden. And if I'm Eve then I guess that makes you my Adam~"

"Oh does it now~" Now Lincoln started to get into it as he wrapped his arms around Dawn's waist and pulled the nature lover close to him, their bodies pressing against each other. "Well then come here my Eve~" Lincoln and Dawn then kissed each other right on the lips, expressing their love to each other in one of the best ways they knew how.

Meanwhile, as they were embracing each other, Heather looked out the window to the girls' cabin and saw them and immediately gagged in disgust.

CONFESSIONAL – HEATHER

"Ugh! Those two are so disgustingly sweet and lovely dovey…grrr!" Heather gagged and growled at the thought of those two. No matter when she saw them together, they were always acting like a married couple with the honey moon setting cranked all the way up 24/7. "There's no way any couple could be all that sweet…loving…and perfect! They have a weakness somewhere and I am gonna find it if it's the last thing I do, do you hear me!"

"Brbrbrbrbr!" Making the couple cease their kissing, both of them looked down to seeing Edward tugging at Lincoln's pant leg and pointing his tail at the painting. "Brbr! Brbrbr!"

Lincoln and Dawn chuckled as the former picked the platypus up. "Don't worry Edward I'll put you in the painting to." Lincoln told the semi-aquatic mammal, making the platypus smile and nod his head in satisfaction. However, killing the mood for the three of them, they soon head the sound of a helicopter flying coming towards them. Looking, they saw none other than Chris himself flying towards them in his signature red chopper and making the three of them sigh. "But that'll have to wait for later…"

"What's going on out here?" Gwen yelled out as she exited the cabin with Heather following behind.

Just then Owen popped his head out the window, having woke up because of the helicopter, and looked up at the flying machine and smiled. "Is that the doughnut-copter?" Due to a dream he was just having, Owen was crossing his fingers that it actually came true, only to receive an eye roll from Heather.

Cutting to the Helicopter, Chris looked into the camera with his signature flawless smile. "Welcome back to Total Drama Island!" The host began as he wanted to make sure to really hype this episode up. Only six more after all, gotta make it count. "Over the past six weeks, we've watched eighteen campers push themselves to the limit! And they get their butts kicked off the island by their fellow campers! Sucks to be you! Ezekiel. Tyler. Noah. Justin. Katie. Eva. Izzy. Cody. Beth. Sadie. Trent. Harold. Eva again. Geoff. Bridgette. Lindsay. Izzy again. Courtney. DJ. And Leshawna."

After landing the helicopter, the host with the most continued speaking to the cameras as he walked up to the remaining six campers who were now all outside and lined up next to each other. "Only six campers remain. And after six weeks of bugs, crappy camp food, and even grosser bathrooms, our six finalists are about this close to losing it. We strove to come up with the best way to help the campers destress," Chris then chuckled and shook his head before holding up a pair of handcuffs. "Then decided it would be way more fun to handcuff them together and see if we couldn't push them over the edge."

As Chris walked up to the campers, they all saw the handcuffs in his hand with Heather asking. "Did Duncan's parole officer send a care package?"

"Ah Officer Greg." Duncan chuckled and shook his head, hands on his hips. "Good times, lots of pranks."

"Neh, all in the name of today's challenge," Chris explained as he twirled the cuffs around a little, feeling really excited for this one. "The Tri-Armed Triathlon!"

"Tri-Armed?" Owen questioned as he held three fingers up. "Like, three arms?"

"Yes! You are very right Owen." Chris nodded his hand as he held up three fingers as well. "Three challenges, three teams of two, three arms per team."

Heather cringed as hard as she possible could. Being handcuffed to one of the other five people with her. That sounded like a complete nightmare. "Have you met these people?" Heather pointed out as she gestured to the other five campers, them shooting her glares in response. "I am not being chained to any of them."

"Winning team members both get invincibility from tonight's vote." Chris revealed, making Heather and cross her arms and she grumbled. She really needed invincibility now more then ever.

CONFESSIONAL – GWEN

"Six long weeks. I don't know how much more of this I can take." Gwen grumbled out as she lightly pulled on her hair. She swore she would go crazy any day now from being here. Between the painful and humiliating challenges, the disgusting camp food which shouldn't even legally qualify as food, and Heather. It was all just becoming way too much. "The only plus is that at least a few of the people are somewhat bearable. Owen's ok so long as I'm not within fart range, Lincoln's nice and doesn't do anything to get on my nerves, Dawn's usually pretty quiet, and I can just ignore Duncan. Ugh, I really miss Leshawna though."

CONFESSIONAL – LINCOLN

"Shout out to all my friends, supporters, and especially my family back home!" Lincoln shouted with a wide smile on his face, in one of the best moods he's been in for a while. "Ya know I'm actually gonna miss this place when it's all over. Sure the food isn't the best but I can deal and I'm used to fighting for my life every day back home. Plus I've made some really great friends. Harold, DJ, Geoff, Bridgette, Courtney, Owen, Gwen, and of course…Dawn." Lincoln let out a loving sigh as he leaned against the wall of the outhouse. "I gotta say, Dawn is just…the best girl I've ever met. In the few weeks we've been dating I've felt happier with her then I've ever felt then with Ronnie Anne the past few years. She just…completes me."

CONFESSIONAL – DUNCAN

"This place is torture, man." Duncan immediately said as he gestured around him. "At least in juvie, we had a half hour of television a day and they kept the lunatics locked up separately. I mean, this outhouse, this is the only place I can go for peace and quiet. Oh, and you do not wanna come in here after Owen.' Duncan then took a sharp inhale before gagging at the horrible smell. "Oh yeah, and I don't know what's gotten into Dawn lately but all of a sudden she thinks I'm a 'nice guy' or something, and she wants to be my friend. I don't have friends. Got that?"

CONFESSIONAL – DAWN

"Mother Nature has truly extended her greatest olive branch upon me during the competition." Dawn smiled as she sat down in locus position like she usually does. "Not only have I made it to the final six, but I've finally met my one and only soul mate. Our auras are truly merged together as one in perfect harmony. When we're together, I know we can do anything!"

CONFESSIONAL – OWEN

"Yeah, baby! Hahaha! Final six!" Owen laughed out excitedly as he pumped his fist up and down. "Place at the table! Woohoo!"

"Keep it down!" Duncan yelled from outside, making Owen flinch.

"It's pretty awesome to be here." Owen whispered this time as his smile came back. "I'm so psyched, dude. Woohoo."

"Now then, let's get our pairings together." Chris said as he pulled out two more pairs of handcuffs. "First up, Owen and Gwen!"

Gwen caught the cuffs Chris threw to her as Owen chuckled and walked up to the goth. "Woohoo! Alright Gwen, let's do this!" Owen cheered as he held his wrist out. "Team Owen and Gwen all the way!"

Gwen sighed a bit before she managed to smile at Owen as she cuffed on of her hands. "Yeah, ok." Gwen then cuffed Owen's wrist as well, bounding them together. "Guess I could do worse than you."

"Aw, that's sweet." Owen smiled, taking Gwen's words as a compliment.

"Next up," Chris then tossed a pair of cuffs towards Dawn. "Dawn and Duncan, double-d's!"

Duncan's eyes widened a bit while Dawn didn't seem to pose any objection to it as she quickly cuffed one of her wrist. "Great…" Duncan grumbled a bit. He was hoping for Owen or even Gwen but nope. He had to get Dawn that, though while not the worst scenario, was far from ideal for him. Especially due to recent interactions with the girl with the nature lover believing Duncan to be a nice guy. As Dawn held the other half of the handcuffs out to Duncan, the delinquent simply sighed and said one thing as he cuffed his hand. "Look, just make sure you keep all that peace loving hippie stuff to yourself and focus on winning alright?"

"Whatever you say Duncan." Dawn said in a calm tone and smile as Duncan just grumbled.

"Then that leaves only one pairing left, hehehe." Chris laughed as he twirled around the last pair of handcuffs he had while eyeing the only two campers left that weren't handcuffed together. Without a doubt the pairing that would be the most fun to watch. "You two ready?"

Lincoln and Heather gasped as they looked to each other before cringing in completely disgust. They would have to be handcuffed to each other for this whole challenge. "Nope! No! No! No! No! No! Chris I'm begging you!" Lincoln pleaded to the host to accept literally anything other then this. "Please man! I'll take literally anyone else, even Duncan!"

"What's that supposed to mean?" Duncan questioned with a raised eyebrow.

"Because compared to her, you're a saint." Lincoln simply explained as Heather glared and crossed her arms.

"…Fair enough." Duncan shrugged, ultimately agreeing with Lincoln.

"There is no way I'm being attached to Mr. Goody-Goody." Heather firmly told Chris. There was no way she was gonna spend even two seconds handcuffed with Lincoln. "I rather jump off a cliff."

"You're not the only one." Lincoln grumbled angrily.

"Hehehe, oh this is gonna be FUN!" Chris laughed as he tossed the handcuffs to the two before walking away. "Meet me at the mess hall for the first part of the challenge."

CONFESSIONAL – LINCOLN

"And just like that, I'm back in hell…" Lincoln deadpanned.

With Dawn and Duncan, Owen and Gwen, and Heather and Lincoln all handcuffed to one other, they met up at the mess hall like Chris had instructed. Lincoln and Heather were constantly glaring at each other, Owen was smiling like usual and Gwen was stoic like usual, and Dawn was giving Lincoln a sympathetic look from where she was while Duncan tapped his fingers against the table waiting for everything to start.

Chris laughed a little at the sight of all the handcuffed campers before he cleared his throats. "First of our three challenges, competitive chow-down." Chris announced to everyone, instantly making Owen smile at the name.

"Hahaha, come on." Owen laughed enthusiastically. "This is like a dream I had once."

"The doughnut-copter dream?" Gwen deadpanned while rolling her eyes.

"You've had it too?" Owen asked before Chris snapped his fingers to get everyones attention on him again.

"Each team will choose a feeder and an eater." Chris began to explained as Chef came out from the kitchen and put a covered platter in front of all the teams. "Eaters must put their hands behind them, making it more difficult for the feeders. One last thing." Chris reached into his pocket and pulled out a key with a skull on the end of it and waved it in front of everyone in a tempting manner. "This is the wimp key. A skeleton key that will open any handcuffs. You'll be offered the wimp key at each challenge to unshackle yourselves from your teammate." Heather immediately smiled and looked to her cuffs and was hoping she could detach herself from Lincoln that easily. "But…if you choose to accept it, you'll both be eliminated."

"Hello?" Gwen called out with a look that showed she just wanted to get the challenge over with. "How do we win this thing?"

"Simple!" Chris said as Chef lifted the covers off all their platters revealing all the…'delicacies' one person from each team would have to eat. Say what you will about Chef's cooking, but chicken is not green in any sort of natural way. "Victor goes to the team who finishes their platter of delicacies fastest."

Dawn cringed a bit as she saw the meat on the plate and looked up to Duncan with a pleading look. "Please do the eating…" The nature lover begged so she wouldn't have to eat meat. While she would actually end up feeding it to Duncan, it was the lesser of two evils. "Please…"

Duncan merely sighed and shook his hand. "Fine, I wanted to do it anyway." Duncan told her making Dawn breath a sigh of relief and smile. "Besides, don't want you cheating again like with last time." Dawn then started to deadpan.

Gwen cringed a bit at the various 'foods' on the platters, but luckily she had the best teammate for this very challenge. "So Owen." Gwen patted the big guy on the shoulder. "Feeling hungry?"

"Always!" Owen eagerly responded as he put his hands behind his back…accidentally making Gwen trip and fall.

Despite the two being possible the worst, or best in Chris' eyes, Lincoln and Heather were able to make a decision really quick. "Ok look, I'm sure right now we both wouldn't made cutting off our or the others hand in order to get out of this situation." Heather nodded, the queen bee couldn't agree more. "But we also wanna win, so I'll eat. You feed. And just leave at that."

"Ugh, fine." Heather scoffed as she grabbed the spoon provided to them as Lincoln put his hands behind his back. "But you better eat fast or so help me I'll start shoving it down your throat by force. I will not have you sabotaging us just to get me to lose, got it?!" Lincoln simply rolled his eyes and nodded his head. Yep, this was gonna go really well.

And so Chef gave the go-ahead for the teams to start eating. Each team was going at various speeds and it was rather easy to see who was in the lead. With Dawn and Duncan, Dawn was shoving a few big spoonful's of food, letting Duncan chew and swallow, and simply rinse and repeat. "Ready for more?" Dawn asked as she scooped up some kesh in her spoon with the delinquent nodding and opening his mouth.

With Gwen and Owen, they were in the lead by far as Gwen was more so dumping food into Owen's mouth rather then scooping it in. The goth girl was shoveling giant spoonful's of food into Owen's wide-open mouth while the big guy practically instantly swallowed the food provided to him. "Go faster!" Owen told Gwen as the goth girl dumped more food into his mouth.

"I'm going as fast as I can Owen!" Gwen told the big guy while looking at the other teams' plates and seeing that they had the lead.

Meanwhile, Lincoln and Heather were not working nearly as well together as Heather was trying to take Gwen approach and shovel as much food into Lincoln as she can. Only problem was that Lincoln wasn't nearly the bottomless pit of hunger that Owen was and was struggling to swallow and not choke on the food Heather was forcing on him. "Slow down!" He tried to say with his incredibly stuffed mouth.

"Why don't you just swallow faster!" Heather yelled at Lincoln as she stuffed another spoonful of food in him.

Meanwhile Chris and Chef just enjoyed themselves while watching the challenge. The host and buff cook simply enjoyed a nice frosty beverage as campers stuffed food into their teammates mouth. At least until Gwen got an idea in her head. "Meh, go big or go home." Putting down her spoon, Gwen simply picked up the entire platter and shoved the whole thing into Owen's face.

"Huh, bit unorthodox but hey, I'll allow it." Chris shrugged as the other teams put down their spoons, Heather growling as she did so and Lincoln breathing a sigh of relief at no longer having food shoved within him. "The winners are Gwen and Owen!"

"Good job Owen," Gwen complimented the big guy as the two shared a high five. "Looks like your skills of stuffing your face have finally become useful."

"Aw, thanks Gwen." Owen giggled and blushed a bit at the compliment. "That's sweet."

CONFESSIONAL – OWEN

"I like to think me and Gwen have really become good friends here on the island." Owen smiled as he talked about his friendship with the goth girl. "I'm really happy we got on the same team together."

CONFESSIONAL – GWEN

"I'll admit, being on this island hasn't been 100% bad." Gwen, despite her strong hatred towards this place, had to admit there were some highlights. "Don't get me wrong, this place completely sucks and I wanna watch it be torn to the ground, but I did meet a few decent people. And one…really amazing one." Gwen blushed a bit at the thought of a certain guitarist.

Just then the moment of victory was killed as a rumbling sound was heard coming from Owen's stomach. The big guy knew the feeling all too well and awkwardly looked towards Gwen. "Speaking of teamwork..." A fart coming from the big guys butt made the goth's eyes widen. "How are you with toilet paper?"

With that, everyone watched as Owen dragged a screaming Gwen to the bathroom.

ONE STINK-FEST LATER

After Gwen helped Owen with the…unmentionable, it was time for the second part of the challenge. This time, similar to the last challenge, Chris had gathered up everyone on the beach with three canoes ready for the teams. But before starting, Chris waved the oh-so-tempting wimp key in front of all their faces. "Last chance for the tempting wimp key before part two!" Chris laughed a bit as he waved the key around.

"Better not be thinking of bailing." Duncan narrowed his eyes at Dawn, making sure the nature lover wasn't about to back down and get them disqualified.

"Don't worry I wasn't." Dawn reassured Duncan in a sweet tone that simply made the delinquent sigh and roll his eyes. Whenever he tried to put up the tough guy act, Dawn would simply act in her usual sweet and gentle personality. He knew that Dawn was wordlessly calling him out for actually being a nice guy and it was really ticking him off.

"Don't even think about it!" Heather growled at Lincoln who simply glared at Heather in response.

"Back at ya prom queen!" Lincoln retorted making the queen bee grind her teeth.

"You know it's friendships like this that truly warm my heart." Chris chuckled as he stuffed the wimp key into his pocket. He knew this was gonna be fun and it looked like this was an understatement. "Anyway, on the beach, you will find three canoes. One for each team. Your challenge is to paddle your canoe, while wearing handcuffs, hehehe, all the way to…Boney Island!" Chris spoke the name of the island the campers visited all the way back in the canoe race episode in a spooky voice with a few of the campers flinching at this. "Once there, you will open a package that is waiting for you. Go!"

The teams were quick to rush towards the canoes as soon as Chris gave them the go. Once Duncan and Dawn reached their canoe, the delinquent was quick to tell the moon child. "I'm riding in front sweetheart, got it?"

Dawn simply rolled her eyes at Duncan's tough act, he really should just cut the act already. "You know Duncan you don't have to put up the whole 'tough guy' act with me alright? You can trust me with your true feelings." Duncan's eyes widened a little bit, surprised by Dawn's comment. "If you wanna be in the front you can be in the front alright?"

"…Thanks…" Duncan mumbled quietly as he got in the front of the canoe with Dawn sitting in the back.

"Woohoo! Here comes O-Train!" Owen cheered as he easily pushed his and Gwen's canoe across the beach and into the water with Gwen sitting in the back and simply letting Owen do his thing.

Meanwhile Lincoln and Heather were silently choosing not to say anything as they pushed their canoe into the water, neither wanting to hear the others voice right now.

Once all the water, the silence between Lincoln and Heather remained. The real conversation was being made between Duncan and Dawn. The two were rowing through the lake towards the curse island in sync as the delinquent decided to address the elephant in the room. "Ok Dawn, seriously what's been going on with you lately?" The delinquent wanted to nip this in the bud so that she can just stop it already. "Why do you keep insisting I'm a nice guy?"

"Well it's simple isn't it?" Dawn simply shrugged as she got rowing. The nature girl looked up and looked Duncan right in the eyes. "It's because you are."

"No. I. Am. Not!" Duncan yelled as he swatted his paddle against the water in frustration. He was really starting to get annoyed by the girls claims. She may be able to sense auras but she was wrong about this…she was wrong. "What don't you get about me? I'm not a nice guy. I don't smile, I don't hold the door open for other people, I don't do anything anyone would 'nice' alright?"

"DJ's bunny?" Dawn had a smug smile on her face as she said this.

"…Dang it." Duncan sighed out as he lowered his head. There was no way he could deny that, Dawn even explained the reason why he did that with his old dog that ran away. "Ok fine…that was one time."

"There was also Mother's Day when you were 6, 9, 10, 13, and 14. The time when those group of teenagers were picking on that group of kindergarteners. And need I mention those few times when everyone else in your cabin was asleep and you-"

"Ok! Ok! Alright!" Duncan quickly cut off Dawn before she could say anything else that would get one camera. Sighing as he lowered his head, Duncan asked Dawn. "Just…don't tell anyone ok? I don't want my reputation ruined."

"I told you Duncan you can reveal your feelings to me, your secret safe is with me." Dawn reassured the delinquent with a gentle smile as they kept paddling forward. "But there really is no need for you to keep the act up 24/7, I'm sure everyone will still respect and like you just the same, and I am sure that Courtney would love it as well~"

"…You really think so?" Duncan quietly asked with a small smile on his face. Dawn nodded her head as Duncan looked forward with renewed vigor. "Thanks and…I'll admit you and…snowball aren't complete losers."

"Oh is that so~?" Dawn couldn't help but smirk a bit at this revelation.

"Don't get your flower necklace in a bundle he's still a dork and I'm gonna crush him but I do have some respect for him." Duncan quickly explained to Dawn before she got any ideas. "I'll admit he's got some skills in wilderness survival, so I…respect him in some areas."

"Well it's good to hear you finally admit." Dawn simply said as she and Duncan moved forward. As they got closer to the cursed island, fog started to spread around the area and the dark energy in the air got thicker. "We're almost there…"

"Ever since I was little, I've always felt like no one really listens to what I have to say." With Owen and Gwen, those two were also closing in on the island as shown by the fog they were canoeing towards. All the while Owen spoke to Gwen about somethings he's been feeling lately. "I'm a person who feels things deeply."

"Join the club Owen." Gwen muttered as they both rowed towards the shore which they were closing in on. "Trust me if there is anyone who knows how it feels to not have anyone listen to them, it's me. Alright, we're almost there."

Despite being the worst possible pairing, Heather and Lincoln were the first to reach the shore and saw three backpacks waiting for the team. Grabbing one, Lincoln opened it and pulled out something and everyone else hoped they would never see again. "AAAAAHHH!" Both Heather and Lincoln screamed as in the latter's hand was a piece of the cursed tiki doll that Beth took off the island.

Meanwhile flying above them in his helicopter was Chris who, as soon as Heather and Lincoln saw the tiki statue piece, took out a megaphone. "Welcome to the second part of the second challenge!" Chris announced as the other two teams came up to the shore. "Back in episode eight, your teammate Beth stole the Boney Island tiki doll!"

"She said she returned that!" Gwen pointed out, equally spooked and disturbed by the doll as everyone else.

"She lied!" Chris explained to everyone. "She broke it up and flushed it down the septic tank!" This caused many of the campers to wince in disgust as Lincoln dropped the piece on the shore. "I know! The pieces in those packs need to be returned to the cave of treacherous terror. And you'll wanna do a double quick, 'cause the longer you have the doll, the worse your luck!" But before he left Chris added in one more twist. "Oh yeah, one of you has to piggyback the other! Enjoy!"

"Alright hope on." Duncan offered his back for Dawn to ride immediately. "Probably weigh as much as a twig anyway."

"Gee, thanks." Dawn rolled her eyes yet smiled as she hoped on top of Duncan's back.

"Hey don't get any ideas alright." Lincoln told Duncan, while he trusted Dawn he wanted to get the message over to Duncan nice and clearly.

"Relax snowball." Duncan reassured Lincoln before taking off. "She's in good hands!"

Similar to Duncan, Owen was also quick to let Gwen climb onto him. "Hop on, cowgirl!" Gwen smiled a bit and took Owen up on his offer, the big guy taking off with the goth clinging onto his back.

That only left Lincoln and Heather who were glaring at each other, silently debating over should carry who. "Just get on already." Lincoln grumbled as he turned around.

"That's more like it." Heather let out in satisfaction as she climbed on top of Lincoln's back. While she would prefer not touching Lincoln at all, it was better than her carrying him.

"Oh just shut up." Lincoln just decided to take off running. "You couldn't carry me anyway you probably have the upper body strength of a guinea pig."

And so for the next hour or so, the teams were seen running around the island looking for the cave. The first team to end up finding it was Owen and Gwen. "Owen! There it is look!" The goth girl told her partner while pointing in the direction of the save. Owen gasped and smiled as he headed in the direction of the cave. But when they reached the front of it, there was a bit of a problem. A giant purple spider started descending right in front of Owen's face making the big guy freeze in fear as Gwen tried to calm him down. "No, no, just calm down Owen it's ok, it's ok, it's just a spider…"

But when the spider landed right on Owen's face, there was nothing Gwen could do. "AH! AH! AH!" Owen screamed as he ran away while trying to get the spider of his face. All the while Gwen couldn't do a thing to stop him.

Once they left, the next team to show up was Dawn and Duncan. The delinquent was quickly approaching the cave and grinned as he looked up at the nature lover on his back. "Finally there!" Duncan cheered with a laugh. "Ready Dawn?"

"Yep!" Dawn eagerly nodded. The nature lover took out their piece of the tiki statue and was about to throw it in the cave as she raised it up and-

"Kaw! Kaw!"

…Only for a hawk to suddenly swoop down and snatch it from her hands.

"…Dang it…" Both Dawn and Duncan said in unison as they watched the hawk fly away.

"Get back here birdbrain!" Duncan yelled as he and Dawn tried to catch up to the bird.

Lastly we have Lincoln and Heather. The reluctant duo could be seen running up to the cave while looking around to see if the other teams were around. "I think we're the first ones here!" Lincoln said as he stopped right in front of the cave with a smile. With Chris not giving any sort of announcement that any other team had won, that must mean that the win was still up for grabs. Stopping at the front of the cave with the Loud boy setting the queen bee down. "Heather, hand me the statue."

Heather instantly did so, eager to get the cursed item out of her hands. But as she did so, both teens heard some growling and both watched as a couple of the prehistoric beavers that lived on the island came out of the cave and gave the duo some fierce looks while showing off their sharp teeth." Uh…Lincoln…" Heather squeaked fearfully as she tried to back away. "Maybe we should just try and run…"

Lincoln wasn't afraid however, a merely smirked as he tossed the tiki doll up and down in his hands. "Don't worry Heather, I got this." Meeting his eyes with the prehistoric beavers…Lincoln proceeded to hold out the statue piece in front of them and wave it around. "You guys want the wood? You want the wood?"

Heather rose a brow at Lincoln talking to the giant beavers liked they were dogs. But even more surprising was that…it was working! The giant beavers eyed the wooden doll piece in Lincoln's hand and immediately started looking at it like a doll would look at a doll, panting with their tongues out. "Yeah! Who are good giant beavers? You're good giant beavers!" Lincoln kept adding onto it before finally throwing the tiki piece in the cave. "Go get it!"

With Lincoln throwing the tiki doll piece into the cave, the beavers eagerly chased after it. This round going to Lincoln and Heather.

LATER

Now all the teams were safely back in Camp Wawanakwa, the three teams were each in front of a table covered up by a sheet with Chris leaning on the totem pole behind them. "So far the score is 1 to 1 to 0. If Duncan and Dawn win, no one gets invincibility and the gate is open for anyone to be voted off." Chris explained as the host proceeded to walk in front of everyone. "So, an awesome day, huh? Moldy food fights, carnivorous beavers. But, it's time for someone to win this thing. Today's final challenge..."

Chris then pulled the sheet off of Lincoln and Heather's table revealing the table to be covered with a bunch of wooden carvings of all the voted off contestants. "Woah…" Lincoln let out, not at all expecting this.

"What the heck is all of this?" Heather asked with a bit of a weirded-out tone. The sight of a few of these past contestants disgusting Heather, especially the two Eva heads.

"The totem pole of shame and humiliation." The host with the most began to explain the rules of this challenge. "Your task? Assemble the heads in the order in which your comrades were voted out." Chris, for the last time today, present the wimp key to everyone. "Unless you want the wimp key! Time for heads to roll!"

And so the teams got to work resembling their towers. Owen however…"Nice guy, Justin." Owen admired the carving of Justin in his hand a bit too much. "Look! Even his wood carving of him is smoking hot!" Gwen's eyes widened at Owen. "I mean, it's a good carving! His features are so chiseled." Gwen gasped this time. "I mean, someone chiseled them really well!"

"Look Owen, we can either stand here and linger more on your possible bisexuality, or we can focus on the challenge." Gwen said to get off this awkward topic. "Which do you want?"

"…Focus on the challenge please." Owen said as he and Gwen got to work.

Meanwhile Lincoln and Heather were also getting distracted by some carvings, or more specifically Heather was. "Well, look who I found. Lindsay and Beth." Heather picked up the carvings of her former allies and knocked them together. "Too bad neither of them made it to the final six. What a shocker. These pieces of wood have about as much brain power as those two traitors combined."

"Says the girl who's only made it this far from sheer dumb luck." Lincoln mumbled as he put Noah's head on top of Tyler's.

"What was that?" Heather harshly glared at Lincoln.

"You know very well what I'm talking about." Lincoln looked Heather right in the eye as he said this. "The only reason you won was because you either had a human shield taking the votes for you like Beth or Cody, or had someone doing all the work for you while you stick in the back like with Lindsay. All you've done here is shown how lazy and unskillful you are. Face it, all you that attitude shows is how much smaller you are compared to all of us!"

"…" Heather was completely silent as the Beth and Lindsay heads fell from her hands.

"Now let's see what our Double-D team is up to." Chris said as he walked up to Dawn and Duncan's table. While Duncan was doing something with the carving of Courtney's head.

"Don't!" Duncan pleaded as Chris grabbed the head and turned it around…showing that Duncan had carved a heart into the back of it. "It's not funny, man." Duncan glared at the host as he started chuckling.

"Most guys kiss girls they like. Dude carves her head." Chris only laughed more as he pointed at Duncan. "Hahaha! Mr. Tough ain't so tough-" Chris was then cut off by a carving of Sadie being thrown at his head…by Dawn.

"Woah!" Duncan's eyes widened as he watched the nature loving spinning a carving of Beth on her finger before tossing it up to the top of their totem pole. The delinquent couldn't help but give the nature lover an impressed look. "Where did that come from?"

"You can be soft sometimes, and I can be tough." Dawn proudly as she grabbed a carving of Trent's head. "Now pick up that head and let's get to work."

"Heh, yes ma'am." Duncan said as he picked up the head of Sadie while Chris laid on the ground with swirls in his eyes.

And the last challenge went on. Lincoln and Heather spent more time arguing and yelling at each other, Gwen and Owen were having difficulty remembering some of the placements. Dawn and Duncan however…

"We have a wiener!" The disoriented voice of Chris got everyones attention as they looked to see the dazed host being held up by Dawn and Duncan. And on the teams table was a completed totem pole of all the voted off contestants. "Dawunca…and Dunwananan…take it! That means anybody can get voted off tonight!" After he made the announcement, Duncan and Dawn let the host fall to the ground once more.

As Duncan and Dawn grinned, Lincoln also gained a big grin as he glared at Heather. "You hear that Heather?" Lincoln told the queen bee who quickly caught onto what Lincoln was implying. "ANYONE!"

"Heh, she's got my vote." Gwen grinned as well.

CONFESSIONAL – GWEN

"While I did wanna get rid of Duncan, with Leshawna gone I rather just get rid of the most annoying this first!" Gwen explained, following up with a small chuckle. "Buh-bye Heather."

CONFESSIONAL – DUNCAN

"Welp, I might as well stick with the popular crowd." Duncan shrugged as he cut his fingernails with his pocket knife. "You're going down Heather."

CONFESSIONAL – OWEN

"I had fun with Gwen today." Owen said with a smile. "I think I'm also gonna vote for Heather, she kinda scares me."

CONFESSIONAL – DAWN

"Mother nature will finally have her justice!" Dawn excitedly cheered. "May the island be cleansed of her wicked ways!"

CONFESSIONAL – LINCOLN

"Hehe, you know it almost feels too good to be true." Lincoln smirked as he leaned back on the wall of the outhouse, feeling completely overjoyed over the situation but not entirely showing. "After so long, she's finally gonna be gone. You know I'm used to life screwing me over sometimes, but now? Now it's being all to kind."

CONFESSIONAL – HEATHER

"No! No! NO! NO!" Heather repeated, each no louder then the last. The queen bee then glared and pointed at the camera. "I have come too far to be kicked off now! I will not be the one going home do you hear me?!"

THAT NIGHT

Night had once again fallen on the crappy summer camp and the bonfire was burning bright. All six campers were sitting on a stump, with Edward in Lincoln's lap. Dawn, Lincoln, Edward, Duncan, Owen, and Gwen were all glaring and grinning at Heather with the queen bee looking…awfully calm. Heather was sitting on a stump with her legs crossed and holding a broken nail file in her hand. "What happened to your file?" Gwen asked, deciding to heckle Heather one last time before she was voted off the island.

"Meh, just got worn down and broke." Heather shrugged as she threw the broken item over her shoulder. "Got plenty more."

"Oh I'm sure you do." Gwen chuckled a bit as Heather glared at her. "Back home."

Just then, Chris walked up to his usual spot behind the metal barrel, in his hand was a plate of only five marshmallows. "Campers, you've all cast your votes and made your decision." The host with the most began his usual recap of the rules. "The camper who does not receive a marshmallow tonight must immediately return to the Dock of Shame to catch the Boat of Losers. That means you're out of the contest. And you can't come back. Ever."

Picking up the first marshmallow, Chris started to toss them to the campers that were still safe and in the competition. "The first marshmallow goes to...Lincoln." Lincoln happily caught his marshmallow and fed it to Edward, the platypus eagerly eating up the fluffy treat. "Next, Duncan. Four campers are left, but only three marshmallows." Chris tossed the marshmallow to the delinquent before gesturing the remaining signs of invincibility on his plate. "The next marshmallow goes to...Gwen. Owen, you're safe to." Chris tossed the next two marshmallows to the goth and big guy respectively.

That only left two campers left. "Heather, Dawn, there is only marshmallow on this plate." Chris explained as he picked up the last marshmallow. Heather keeping her calm expression as Dawn narrowed her eyes at Heather, a confident look on the nature lovers face. "Whoever receives this marshmallow will be moving up to the final five, the other will be cast away off the island, for good." Chris then reared his hand back a little prepared to announce and toss the last marshmallow…

"Heather."

Everyone. Everything went completely and perfectly quiet. Even the cackling sounds of the fire seemed to disappear as Chris tossed the last marshmallow to Heather who happily ate it up. "W-What…" Dawn could barely muttered, the hippie girl entering shock. She…was eliminated. But…how? Everyone but Heather voted for Heather! There should have been no way Heather wouldn't be the one being eliminated.

While everyone else had dropped jaws, Lincoln immediately stood up and started shaking his head rapidly. Edward quickly jumped off the Loud boy's lap before he stood up. "No! NO! NO! NO! NO!" Lincoln yelled as he stomped towards Chris, refusing to accept this. There was no way to accept this. "There is no way Dawn got voted off! I know for a fact the five of us voted for Heather!"

"Trust me dude, I ain't happy about this either." Chris stated as he reached into his pocket and pulled out a bundle of papers. "Since you and Dawn became a couple ratings of sky rocketed and it seems some of their favorite moments is seeing you two together. But according to the votes Dawn's got three against her, two against Heather, and one against you. Them's the breaks I'm afraid."

"But…But you can't…" Lincoln tried to plead, tears already building up in his eyes. But it was all for naught as Chris snapped his fingers, signaling Chef to come in and start dragging Dawn over to the dock. Lincoln quickly followed, not bearing seeing his girlfriend separated him.

All the while Heather kept silent, but simply looked at the scene.

"Sorry kids, this is just the way it's gotta be." Chef apologized as they reached the Boat of Losers. Chef hoped in and looked at the two, sighing a little bit. "I'll give ya two minutes to say goodbye."

Dawn, while incredibly saddened at being separated from her boyfriend and taken off the island, gave Chef a thankful nod before turning to Lincoln and feeling her heart break as the Loud boy had his head lowered and had years falling down his eyes. Placing a hand softly on his cheek, Dawn raised his head up and looked right into his tear-filled eyes, her eyes also getting watery. "Hey, hey, hey…it's ok. It'll…It'll be ok."

"…" Lincoln was silent at first, holding Dawn's hand and sniffling as the tears fell from his eyes. "I don't want you to go…"

Dawn frowned sadly, unable to stop her own tears from falling. "I know…I don't either…" This was just…unreal. Everything just seemed to perfect. They were together and happy, and Heather was prime for the voting. But somehow…this happened. "But…you can do this…I believe you. Alright? You finish this. For the both of us."

Despite the sadness in his heart at losing the girl that means so much to him, Lincoln did his best to nod. "Ok…I promise…I will…" After hearing this, Dawn leaned forward and placed a kiss filled with nothing but pure love on Lincoln's kiss. Lincoln didn't hesitate for a second for a second as he returned it, the before kissing each other for the last time until they meet up again.

"Brbrbr…" Edward let out sadly, standing next to Lincoln's leg.

Seeing the platypus, Lincoln picked him up and handed him to Dawn. "Here, take Edward with you." Lincoln offered his girlfriend. "He can keep you company until we…m-meet up again…"

Dawn smiled sadly and took Edward into her hands, the platypus gently nuzzling her. "Thank you, Lincoln. For this…and for everything." Dawn, with a very heavy heart, boarded the Boat of Losers. "I promise…we'll see each other again…goodbye."

And with that, Dawn was taken off Total Drama Island…Lincoln falling to his knees and crying as Gwen and Owen came up to him and comforted the Loud boy. Even Duncan showed up and placed a hand on his shoulder.

…All the while Heather watched from the camp fire with satisfied smirk.

CONFESSIONAL – HEATHER

The door to the confessional opened up with Heather stepping inside. As the queen bee sat down…a wooden box was seen in her hands. She grinned as she pulled out a nail fail and used it to break off the lock sealing it shut, the file breaking as well. "Dang it!" Heather let out as her file broke, but her smirk soon returned. It didn't matter, opening up the box the queen bee removed the papers inside and replaced them with a new batch. "So, think I'm lazy huh? We'll see about that." Heather then pulled out a new lock to replace the own she broke off as well as throwing the old lock in the toilet to hide it.

"To every Adam and Eve…there's a snake in the garden." Heather said as she watched everything going on at the docks before walking towards the cabins, bringing an end to yet another episode of Total…Drama…Island.
