Chapter 13 - Chapter 13

After leaving Randy at the pound, Max returned to the house, where Mrs. Young was waiting for him. Max got out of the limo, and Mrs. Young glanced at him angrily. Mrs. Young said, "Did you find Randy?" Max said, "No, can't say I did. But we might be able to find him more easily with this." Max showed Mrs. Young the moonstone ring, and it was glowing, as he was a werewolf. Mrs. Young said, "You got the moonstone ring back? How?" Max said, "That's classified. But I'm going to go show Steve and Victoria that I achieved the goal like they wanted."

Meanwhile, Anna followed Rnady's trail of hair dye drops to the abandoned house where the dogs hung out. Anna then walked in and took a look around. Since the dogs saw Anna, they all hid and let her look around. When she arrived at the place where Randy slept for the night, the trail stopped because the hair dye had dried. Anna said, "Randy and his dog friends must have spent the night here." Anna then left the house and saw fresh tire tracks with dog prints following them. Even though she wasn't a werewolf yet, Anna sniffed the tracks and got a picture of what happened. Anna then got in her limo and said, "Get me to the pound." Anna's limousine driver then drove her to the pound, where Randy was, hoping to find him there.

Meanwhile, back at the pound, none of the dogs were talking to Randy, and Randy was feeling horrible. Winnie was scowling at Randy and holding a ball, while Rose was trying to calm down by speaking to herself. Rose said, "I'm where I'm supposed to be. In a werewolfless environment." Jamie was scowling at Randy and saying things she liked to cheer her up, while Randy smiled at her, hoping she wouldn't hurt him. Danny and Judy tried to make Eliza feel better, while Joey and Baxter tried to cheer Ace up. While they were doing so, one of the animal control officers stopped by their cage and said, "Dinner." He then opened their cage, and Eliza noticed how.

Randy hurried over to Eliza and asked, "Have you got an idea? Anything I can do to help?" Eliza said, "Yes. Don't help. I'm still mad at you." Eliza looked around and saw the door dropping, Rose and Baxter playing with a ball, and the others chowing down on their meat. Eliza took the ball from Rose and Baxter and ran over to the dogs, who were eating. She then saw that one of the bones from the meat they had eaten was left, and Baxter was playing with it. Eliza said, "Baxter, fetch." Eliza tossed the ball, and Baxter dropped the bone and went after the ball. Eliza then grabbed the bone, threw it at the door, and stopped it from shutting, because the bone was holding the door up. Eliza said, "Yes."

Eliza tried to squeeze out, but even she couldn't fit through the opening she had made. Eliza said, "I'm too big. Joey, you're a puppy. Maybe you can fit under there." Joey walked over to the door and said, "I'll try." Joey squeezed through the opening Eliza made, and he escaped. Eliza asked, "Can you reach?" Joey said, "Of course I can reach." Joey jumped as high as he could, but couldn't reach the button to open the door. Joey said, "Maybe if I got a running start." Joey stepped back a little, and Eliza whispered something in Danny's ear. Joey ran up to the button, and when he jumped, he still couldn't reach it, so he dropped. Danny then did as Eliza said and threw him back up. Once he reached the control panel, instead of pressing the green button to open the door, Joey pushed the red button, setting off the alarm. The dogs heard the alarm going off and got worried. Eliza asked, "Did you hit the red button?" Joey said, "I'm color blind, I can't see red." Judy said, "I thought he saw red all the time."

Since the alarm went off, Abby heard it, so she went to check on the dogs. Jamie heard the door open and said, "I think someone's coming." Abby said, "What's going on?" Rose said, "The boss lady." On her way there, Eliza and Judy helped Joey back in before Abby got there. Eliza said, "Suck it in." Joey then sucked in his stomach and squeezed back in the cage before Abby arrived. The door then crushed the bone, holding it up. Once Abby arrived, she had her suspicions and asked, "Who's trying to escape?"

Abby opened the cage door and told Duke to sniff out the culprit. Duke glanced at Eliza and said, "There's only one mutt crazy enough to do something like this." Eliza then growled at Duke, but Randy stepped ahead of her and called her off. Randy said, "Yes. And that would be me." Duke laughed and said, "You?" Eliza said, "Randy, no." Randy ignored Eliza and said, "It's my fault, all of it. I was trying to escape." Duke laughed at Randy and said to his face, "Liar. You haven't got the guts, sled dog." Randy said to Duke's face, "Oh?" Randy walked by Duke and over to Abby. Abby asked, "Duke? Why is it walking toward me?" Randy then growled at Abby, and the others looked at each other, waiting for the result. Randy lifted his back leg, and Abby knew what he was thinking.

Abby said, "Huh. Try it, purple fur ball." Randy then peed on Abby, and Abby screamed. Evan and Jamie gasped while Winnie and Judy laughed, and Duke grabbed Randy on his neck to stop him. As Duke held Randy in different directions by dragging him all over the floor, Randy peed in various directions. Eliza asked, "Oh, what? Now you pee in public?" Randy said, "I can't help it, I've been holding it in too long." While Randy peed everywhere, the dogs in the cage tried to avoid it, and Abby watched, which made her mad.

Randy finally stopped when he was done. Randy said, "Oops." Anna then walked in and said, "Duke. Throw him in with the beast." Randy said, "Wait, beast. You mean the dog-eating dungeon monster." Duke threw Randy in a kennel and carried him to the dungeon where they were keeping the beast. When he passed by the other dogs, Randy said with a guilty look, "I'm sorry." Eliza said with a concerned look, "Randy." Abby opened the dungeon door, and Randy's kennel, and Duke threw the kennel in the dungeon. When it landed there, Randy fell out and then looked at Abby. Abby said, "Enjoy your new cellmate, purple dog." Abby then slammed the door on Randy and locked him in. Randy then ran up to the door and begged to get out, but Abby ignored him. Randy finally stopped and asked himself, "What have I done?"
