Chapter 47 - Chapter 47 - Third Year Begin

"Time sure flies."

Outside of King Cross Station, William let out a soft sigh as he looked at the bag of luggage that Felix held. The time to go back to Hogwarts has arrived.

"Yeah." Felix replied. "Now I just hope it keeps its speed during the school year."

"So about that mirror we talked about." William asked.

"I will think about it." Felix rolled his eyes.

"Come on, pretty please. It shouldn't be too difficult. I will even pay for the materials." William acted like a child who really wanted a toy.

"Alright Bruce Wayne. The materials aren't as cheap as you think." Felix rolled his eyes.

"Isn't it just a mirror and you just need to perform some magic." William said. "Simple isn't it."

Felix just gave the man a tired look as it sounded like making magic items so easy. If making magic items that aren't cheaply made or wear off within a short time, then they won't be so rare. Not to mention the Mirror of Galadriel isn't so easily made.

The easiest part was the mirror, and that is where the easy part ends. The rest that involves magic is much more difficult that even he doesn't want to try at this time. For one piece involved is time magic and time magic is barely touched upon in the magic world.

Even the time magic in the so called time turners aren't rich in time magic. While he never came into contact with one, he did look at the crafting method and he really doubted they managed to craft the more sophisticated ones.

"I will look into it." Felix made no promises.

While he did want to fulfill his adoptive wishes, the Mirror of Galadriel isn't so easy to make. Neither is the One Ring nor Mithril Shirt. While he only really wanted one, what he wants isn't really all that easy to make.

"Well, don't work too hard, have fun and try not to get assassinated." William tried to sound like he was joking.

When he grabbed Felix's shoulder, the tightening of his hand told otherwise. Felix did feel bad about this, but why the current Dark Lord focused on him, he didn't know. It probably has to do with splitting his soul so many times. His thoughts, while not hard to guess, weren't easy to understand in some aspects too.

"See you later." Felix said as he walked towards the station.

--

After going through the barrier, Felix sat eyes upon the familiar scene. The Hogwarts Express, parents sending off their children, and the sadness or excited students running to board the train. Even James and Sirius were happily boarding the train for their last year.

Stepping onto the train, Felix found John already. Placing his stuff down, Felix saw that he seemed to be zoning out a bit.

"What's up?"

"Nothing." John replied. "It has been kind of strange at home since my brother got married."

"Did your mother already begin trying to play matchmaker for you?" Felix asked with a smile.

"No yet, but I won't put it past her in a couple years." John laughed. "So what is this year's project?"

Felix smiled as he grabbed something from his pocket. There he pulled out a comic book with a green ring on it. While he really isn't much of a fan of this comic book hero, he thought making the object that gave him his abilities would be interesting to make.

"Green Lantern?"

"The Green Lantern Ring actually. Don't you find it an interesting idea to do?"

"Well, I am game." John said. "I thought for sure you would make a Superman outfit or his Fortress first."

"Don't be giving him ideas."

Angel came in and sat down.

Felix silently tucked away a note with those items on it, which made the two laugh. It didn't really surprise them all that much he might have those ideas written down.

."So are you excited for another year at Hogwarts?" Angel asked.

"Excited as one can be." Felix replied to her.

Felix's time at Hogwarts was less about doing classes and more about working on magic trinkets and projects. He never really understood why this was, but his homework and learning was vastly different from others.

"So what got you so excited?" Felix asked her.

"There is a Christmas Ball this year. We can also visit Hogsmeade. The best part is my brother and his friends are graduating this year." Angel seemed more cheerful in the last sentence.

"That would explain the extra clothing we had to buy." John complained. "I ended up spending more time at the store due to my mother and the tailor arguing over two shades of the same color."

After a small laugh for his complaint, Angel took a seat by Felix as they waited for the train to depart.

--

After taking the day trip to Hogwarts, Felix took a seat at the Gryffindor Table awaiting for the first years to arrive and be sorted. Not much has changed over the summer, well besides the professor for the Defense Against the Dark Arts.

This time it was a chubby old man with a half bald head and dark circles under his glazy eyes. Clearly his drinking started long before dinner as he slightly swayed in his chair and hiccuped from time to time.

The couple professors around him didn't seem impressed but clearly pretended everything was fine. Their acting skills weren't the best, but they also didn't draw attention to their dissatisfaction with him either.

Then, Felix's eyes landed on Dumbledore who after a short moment shifted his attention to him with a smile. Then a small note in his hand seemed to fold itself as it glided out of his hand towards him.

Catching it, Felix opened it to reveal a short message.

[We will begin your Animagus Training in a few days if you are still interested. - Headmaster: Albus Percival Wulfric Brian Dumbledore (Order of Merlin, First Class, Grand Sorc., Chf. Warlock, Supreme Mugwump, International Confed. of Wizards).]

Seeing the full name of the Headmaster and all his titles, it seemed that Professor Dumbledore was having fun writing this note. Otherwise, between the long signature and the Headmaster's smiling expression that seemed to want to laugh, he didn't understand why he wrote such a long one.

"What's that?" Angel asked.

"Lessons on Animagus with Dumbledore."

Felix didn't hide it, since it wasn't something that needed to be hidden. He isn't like others in the school who were doing it secretly. Instead he was one of the rare few to do it legally or semi-legally.

It is written that before one begins learning this magic they must register at the Ministry so they can keep track. However, many don't tend to do so, especially at this moment in time.

"You're trying to become an Animagus?" John asked.

"It's an interesting piece of magic after all. Besides, isn't it your dream to learn it in the future?" Felix looked at John.

"Yeah." John nodded. "Still surprising you are going to be learning this magic already."
