Still invisible, Lizarius soared silently over the vast forest, his golden eyes scanning the dense canopy below like twin suns peering through mist.
Then—without hesitation—he fold it wings and dove.
Slicing through the sea of leaves, he landed without a sound on a thick, moss-covered branch. From this high perch, he gazed downward.
There it was.
A tiger.
Massive. Muscular. Its striped body moved with slow, deliberate strength. Easily 3.7 feet at the shoulder, five feet long.
Lizarius narrowed his eyes.
> "System," he asked, mind sharp and calm. "What kind of beast is that?"
A cold, mechanical voice echoed in his thoughts.
> [SYSTEM RESPONSE]: Demonic Tiger. Rank: Unknown.
But Lizarius's expression didn't change. He remained perfectly still, golden eyes unblinking.
> "That's it? No gene abilities?"
> [SYSTEM CONFIRMATION]: Affirmative. No gene traits detected. This Demonic Tiger has no inherited abilities. However, it has formed a Beast Core."
Still, his face was unreadable, like carved stone beneath the shimmer of golden light.
> So… it's Just a normal tiger but with.
brute strength and a core.
Like the snake from before.
Unfolding his wings, Lizarius leaned forward, eyes gleaming like molten gold.
> "If it has a core, then it might be as strong as that snake I just have to kill it with a soul attack.
But without genes... Only gain evolution points."
With a single, swift motion, he swung his wings.
A barrage of razor-sharp wind blades tore through the air—silent, precise, lethal.
The tiger's ears twitched.
In a blur of movement, it leapt aside—just as the blades struck the forest floor.
Boom.
An explosion of earth and shattered bark lit the clearing.
Now standing safely beyond the blast zone, the tiger growled low, its eyes fixed on the source. Fury and instinct flared in its gaze.
Above, Lizarius remained motionless on the branch, his body now slowly fading into view—shimmering like sunlight through smoke.
His eyes glowed brighter, golden light swirling.
Then—a pulse.
A soft gleam, almost invisible, radiated from him and struck like a silent spear.
Soul Attack.
Straight into the tiger's mind.
