Layla went ahead, mindlessly searching for Elysia; she meant to her as a real mother, who took care of her and nurtured her since she was a baby. Michael followed suit, going after her, followed by Frank.
"What happened to Granny Elysia?" Dia asked innocently, to which Anna embraced the little girl.
"We will find her, Dia… don't worry."
"Layla… wait! Please be careful." Layla could hear Michael shouting at her. She was about to stumble and fall, hitting her leg on a piece of furniture. However, she had no time to wait… her mind was running through a million possibilities of Elysia's presence in some part of the mansion.
"Le-Leave me!" she ended up yelling at Michael when he caught her in his hold. Frank tried his best to make her understand that they had searched the entire mansion before informing her, but here she was, reluctant to believe.
